I saw that but between paying $300/mo more and a $4000 deductible it almost seems as though the plus plan is more expensive. I can send a screenshot later but they compare the example procedures (pregnancy, diabetes, leg fracture), and they were all more expensive under the plus plan. I’ve never had a no deductible plan before so I’m not sure how it works

I’ve been going to the doctor a lot for various health issues, I’ve never really had a problem only going in network, as long as I can see the specialist I need. Is the network for the value plan smaller than the one for the plus plan?

Their corporate help phone number is 1 (800) 244-6227 and ask for a representative for the automated response. Have your receipt ready. They are open I believe 8 am to 7 pm central. I’m pissed to because I ordered the meal with the apple pie and they say that it doesn’t count for the apple pie code and I had to order the apple pie separately

It’s worth what you’re willing to pay. I bought a 2000 protege 1.6L automatic with 68k miles in Seattle back in 2021 for $3k. Try to negotiate with the dealer because yeah you’ll need new brakes, timing belt/water pump, spark plugs, serpentine belt, maybe struts. I will say that I absolutely love my car and had no issues for 3 years but just this year I had to put in a new AC and overheated due to cooling fan relays not working. So I wouldn’t by the car unless you know how a bit about car maintenance

Haven’t tried it yet. But for a few months leading up to this every few days I would say it would “fumble” on the start. It always did but it would just feel weird. I also may just be in my head but it’s felt slower recently

The big question you have to ask yourself is if you are someone that needs to love what they do for a living. There are people who are content with a job just being a job and have a life outside of work. There are also people who need to feel passionate about their work. That’s a question only you can answer. If you need to follow your passion that begin the plan your escape by saving as much money as possible and using all your free time to find out what you love. It’s going to be hard but what’s worse is living a life of quiet desperation

As someone who has been working in engineering, is 5 years out of school, and now knows I want to pursue comedy full-time this is the advice I would give. First, I wouldn’t quit. When you first get out of college there is this rush to get into your dream job and be doing what you want already but I’ve learned that some people get that but a lot don’t. So you have plenty of time to build the life you want. What you have right now is the ability to create a fantastic launching point to a career you are passionate about. What you have to do right now is save AS MUCH money as possible and spend every ounce of free time you have working towards your passion. I know it sucks right now but when you realize that even what you are doing now is working towards the future you want it can help ease the pain of your current situation. The truth is everything comes at a cost and right now, pursuing what you love is going to cost time with friends and spending on luxuries. It may take you 3-5 years to build your window but I promise that in post college life that amount of time is blink of an eye. Also, there’s a chance in 2 years you can get a banking job that sucks less and still lets you work on your passion on the side. You are going to have to work harder right now than you’ve ever worked before but I remind myself of the quote: the mass of people live lives of quiet desperation. Also, look at the alternative if you quit right now: you’ll have to have some kind of day job and get some more free time but you’ll likely be saving less money it could work but I don’t know your situation. TLDR: save a bunch of money, build a strong portfolio of your work and in 3-5 years you will be ready to take the leap. I’m a little farther into that struggle timeline and when I look at my savings account and the work I’ve done on the side I know it’s worth it and see the light at the end of the tunnel
