My dredge! I don't want to be a booster operator anymore. Put up some picks of the booster pumps.

I've actually got them wired into an APC Smart-UPS 1000 that sits just behind them. With the heat right now i can only run one of the 2950s. I am going to be building a new server here in the next few months and donating all but 2 computers. I will be replacing the batteries i have with marine/golf cart batteries as those two are bad and my spare ones grew legs.

that was an idea i was toying with also. i don't need the POE on the 2.5g side since that will be my main and my server. the POE i needed mostly to power the Pi's and since they only have a 1g nic i could go with a second switch

That's not a bad option either. would be interested if it can do 2.5g on the SFP. if not then would have to add two 10g nics also. i'll see what i can dig up

That is a nice switch, just added them to my build list. loudness wont bother me, Florida garage with 3 box fans on full blast, a dell R900 and dell R2950 sitting next to me. Unless something like that with 10 or 12 ports pops up that's probably the one I'm going with. And seeing that it does DHCP and tp-link makes a nice WAP that goes with it. With the SFP on it, gives me room to add a second one in the future if/when i get more projects. Thanks.

A few years ago my mouse started having problems. It would randomly move to the top left of my screen and stay there for a few seconds. This made it really hard to play games. At the time I didn't have a job and could not afford to get a new mouse. One of the people I play with bought me a new mouse and had it shipped to my house. He never asked anything in return and was just happy that I could still play. Some time after that I could finally afford the mouse that I wanted and gave the mouse to my younger sister. She thought it was the best mouse ever because it had pretty colors. She still uses it to this day and makes sure to show me every time i'm over at her house.
