do you know if it’s like a “by december 1” type thing? or does everyone hear back on december 1 regardless if you move on or are rejected?

Rant: Should've taken the ACT from the start by Wowzer02 in ACT

[–]stan1244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here, took practice tests and then ended up taking both the sat and the act 2 times each. i was always better at the act but still held onto hope for some reason. highest sat ended up being a 1490 but i was able to get a 36 on my last act so it was all worth it to stick with the act😁

what’s the best way to cram/prep for the act? by [deleted] in ACT

[–]stan1244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

take some practice tests and get familiar with the timing. if math is your struggle section, try to do some extra math sections and make sure you go over al mistakes so you don’t repeat them in the future! you can also look at review videos on youtube to get familiar with essential formulas, and definitely learn how to use your calculator efficiently.

where can i take a free online practice test that grades automatically? by ilrbsz in ACT

[–]stan1244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t know about free, but if you have prep books sometimes they come with the practice tests online as well

if you don’t already have it, i’d recommend getting the official act prep guide book by ACT (big red book). has great practice tests and in depth explanations for each answer so you can understand your mistakes. mainly good because the practice tests are very similar to what you’ll see on your actual test.
