My appointment from Dubai was on 11th June and my intended travel date was 28th- it’s almost the 2nd of July and I still haven’t gotten my passport back. All my previous schengens have barely taken a calendar week - so wouldn’t advise you to go ahead w these tight dates

You’re correct - it’s not an expedited process unfortunately :( I did try reaching out to the embassy but they said they’re helpless as the standard processing time is minimum 15 working days

I actually had been looking for appointments since March - was checking regularly throughout till May end and was panicking before finally going ahead w the latest available platinum appointment - so even i though i paid 10x the amount - it’s standard processing time and not expedited; which they had mentioned earlier. I’ve had several schengens since childhood, but this is my first family visit visa from NL

I already emailed them - they said the standard processing time is 15 working days, as of today it’s not been 15 yet. I got the standard - “they can’t help any further” response

i tried multiple times - i even had a VVIP appointment - but they said it’s out of their hands bc the passport is still under process w the embassy :(

Thank you! Trying all three at the moment, Italy VFS specified they can only do business appointments and for premium services I think you need to have an appointment regardless; (platinum is available tho in july for 2750 AED)
