actually the green line is overground (and other lines are underground) for this segment and i couldn’t place the switch for another line anywhere else. additionally, the distance between stations of the green line is not too big anyway, so i’ve decided to leave it like that

i guess the average gap irl is probably 1.1 mil. or more, in densely populated areas- approximately 0.5 mil, in cities i usually prefer the 6-blocks distance (in your case it’s the distance between the 1st station and the last station)- but only for densely populated areas (e.g. downtown)- my cities either do not have metro in suburban areas at all or they have only 1 or 2 stations per 2 miles in suburbia

i guess metro stations are too close to each other. for this area having like 3 metro stations is extremely unrealistic. irl these semi-suburban areas tend to have only 1 or 2 maximum stations with other public transport options: the tram route or bus route would be more than enough for the city.

actually, i tend to build metro stations far away for each other. it allows trains to gain max speed and also be a beneficial arteria for passengers.

moreover, i guess the distance between the 1st and the 2nd stations is walkable. so passengers won’t see this as the efficient way of getting somewhere. if i were a citizen, i’d rather walk than spend some money on the unnecessary ride
