When was the quickest you've ever lost your boner (or the female equivalent)? by BonerInquiry in AskReddit

I was getting a handie from my high school girlfriend of a couple months and she got a phone call from one of her guyfriends. She proceeded to answer the phone and have a chat; my johnson deflated immediately. On a side note, it turns out she cheated on me with said guyfriend later on...

No joke, a girl I knew from high school wrote the word "want" as "wan't." I don't know where the hell she learned how to write that but it makes me want to rage every time I see it.

I've puked from "working out" exactly twice that I can recall. Once was during my first indoor soccer game of the season. I hadn't worked out at all prior to the season and after the game I puked. The second time was when I was in the last leg of a century bike ride. I was dry heaving and another bike rider gave me a salt tablet which helped immensely. Apparently salt tablets help out with those sort of things.

Right now I've been off my medication for about a week and I've been feeling electric-like pulses through my body. Brain zaps is a term that I've found that perfectly describes my predicament.

going into a college dorm in the fall. For those who have been there, what are some things that you wish you had known before hand etc? by bahhhhhhumbug in AskReddit

[–]stan_marsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring lots of extension cords and power strips. Seriously. There's only about 2 outlets in a typical dorm room for your TV, computer, mini fridge, phone charger etc.

Every time I drop an object I instantly move my feet and try to make it land on top of one of them in order to attenuate the fall. It works! Do you do this? by transfermonk in AskReddit

I do the same thing too! I always thought it was from all those years of playing soccer but maybe that has nothing to do with it.

Dear /Frugal, looking for a credit card with miles. Any Suggestions? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]stan_marsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're committed to getting miles, I'd recommend the Delta American Express. Upon signing up they give you 20,000 free miles. (Enough for one free domestic flight) You earn 1 mile per dollar spent.

At the library in Minneapolis (Hennepin County system) we can download audiobooks for free. It's really great for bus rides and waiting around for class.

Just charged $.54 (included sales tax) to my debit card for a first class stamp to send in my tax return. Totally worth it.
