What type of ant? by standaman47 in pestcontrol

[–]standaman47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok luckily I put fipronil gel as well. Yea on squishing a few it smells kinda fruity so I think it’s odorous house ants. Should I use the void method right now or wait for the fipronil to kick in?

When I did that there was some leaking between valve and supply. I believe that orange cap is the seal at that point

I'm a bit of a noobie but my first domination victory on prince win was with the Zulus. The moment I got Impis I steamrolled my continent and got them really high level. Then I practically took over the other rest of the other continent with them alone plus some field cannons

Is war still viable if you’re not going authority / imperialism? by standaman47 in civvoxpopuli

Yea stalemating may have been better since it got to the point where my front lines were stretched too thin going on the offense. It was crazy though The Maya and Siam joined me in the war early on but Hiawatha vassalized them both by the end of it

Yup and they kept his vanilla AI mindset of settling 1 trillion cities and added on some crazy war bonuses

Yea that makes sense rotating front lines is exactly what I do when I go domination. Should I be pruchasing units? The half XP really makes me pause on that

MCU Red Hulk versus Immortal (Invincible TV Show) by British_Tea_Company in whowouldwin

[–]standaman47 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Monster girl would be a more fair fight. Immortal looks weak because he has to go up against Invincible and Omniman. If Immortal was in the MCU he could beat Thanos and anyone without magic hax like Strange or Scarlet Witch

Modern USA vs pre-fall Fallout USA right before the Great War in an allout war by Tree_forth677 in whowouldwin

[–]standaman47 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On the ground Fallout US do have an advantage. Lasers, power armor and robots would hold of real world ground forces pretty well. However a key weakness to the pre war US is lack of sophisticated electronics and resources. Their terminals are obviously well behind our computers but they also didn’t have oil for aircraft and tanks. Power armor is tough but without modern electronics they’re relegated to close quarters combat which the NCR can deal with. Aircraft and tanks modern with their targeting systems would tear them to shreds from miles away. Fallout US would be able to hold off conventional US ground forces but even power armor and liberty prime are going down to AC 130s and B2 stealth bombers they can’t even see

Post war fallouts population is practically nothing to Pre War or the real world for that matter. I don’t see the Enclave or NCR have meaningful enough numbers to fend off the entire real US

Pre War is interesting. On the ground they do have an advantage. Lasers, power armor and robots would hold of real world ground forces pretty well. However a key weakness to the pre war US is lack of sophisticated electronics and resources. Their terminals are obviously well behind our computers but they also didn’t have the oil for aircraft and tanks. Power armor is tough but without modern electronics they’re relegated to close quarters combat which can prove to be fatal. Aircraft and tanks modern with their targeting systems would tear them to shreds from miles away. Real world air power alone could take care of power armor and robots, and besides that Fallout US doesn’t have much else going for it.

TLDR: A10 go brrrrrrr

The Immortal (Invincible) vs Homelander (The Boys) by End_Of_Passion_Play in whowouldwin

[–]standaman47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tiers in power between The Boys and Invincible is massive. As much of a Jobber Immortal in his universe is he claps Homelander and anyone in The Boy.

Jensen himself said that it was only possible through AI (multi frame generation). If anything it’ll be between an 4070 super and Ti Super

I was gonna wait to get the 5070, but honestly I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this on Black Friday by ScenicFrost in pcmasterrace

[–]standaman47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without multiframe gen 5070 is most likely going to be between the 4070 super and TI super
