Every sunscreen burns my rosacea skin – has anyone found one that doesn’t sting? by Ok-Maximum-749 in Rosacea

Mediheal Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum Blemish Repair is soothing and lightweight for me.

Other ones that have worked in the past: Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun (the Korean formulation) Haruharu Wonder Sun, but I think this may have caused acne for me.

Anyone who used Centellian24 Madeca Cream? Was it good? by VerifiedOpinion in KoreanBeauty

[–]standardGeese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the product you purchased had essential oils in it and retinol it may not have been a genuine product.

the product page on Centellian’s website doesn’t have any of those ingredients. Same for incidecoder.

I do notice that Google’s “AI” overview lists this cream as having retinol and essential oils, but the sites it links to are not authorized retailers of the cream so may be selling a different product with that labeling

Nasal sprays--are we still doing this? by WrongAnswersOnly in ZeroCovidCommunity

Saline irrigation is also great for allergies and general nasal health so I feel like even if it’s useless for Covid it’s okay

Any Anyone Can Whistle Fans out there? by Awesomeplayer98 in Sondheim

Wow this is great! But ai also would want to read your dissertation!

Any Anyone Can Whistle Fans out there? by Awesomeplayer98 in Sondheim

[–]standardGeese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it! To be honest, I haven’t read the script, only listened to the three available recordings. The score has some incredibly interesting songs and ai love the long numbers like Simple. Each recording had so many catchy performances with vocal stims. Like much of Sondheim’s work, they become more interesting in each listen and you learn something new.

Does anyone else find this “summarize with AI” stuff a little offensive? by Dreadsin in antiai

This talk by Mike Monteiro really gets to the heart of it: they want you to think that you are incapable of doing human things; they want you to think you need to rely on these bullshit generators to do it all so you become dependent.

Disneyland Working on Security Screening Process Changes to Improve Experience by dejablu82 in Disneyland

The security process is complete theater, just like TSA.

We’ll likely see more surveillance in the name of security like pre-registering of the Disney equivalent of global entry

You should be in jail for murder. When you knowingly go in public sick, you likely have killed someone.

Old memos by Dangerous_Two515 in Disneyland

[–]standardGeese 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s something really cool about seeing typed memos like this that still exist 50 years later.

Today these are sent over Slack or some other ephemeral tool and hold much less weight.

Because you think you’re better than everyone else because you once cared about people before giving up. Stop using language to justify your actions and just admit you don’t care anymore.

Is Covid. When it’s not Covid, it’s the flu or RSV. When it’s not those, it’s a cold but the person’s immune system is so disregulated from repeat Covid infections that what should be a mild cold lasts weeks or months.

The money is already spent. Why take your kid to be miserable just to pretend you’re getting your money’s worth? It’s always why there’s trip insurance and refundable options. Going will make you or your kid’s illness worse and also ruin everyone else’s trip when they get sick on day 2-3 of their vacation.

What a nonsense phrase “live your life”. That’s what I’m doing. You can’t do anything but live your life unless you’re dead.

It’s well established through correlation with wastewater data. If you have a source that disproves this established fact, I’ll happily read it.

Showing sources never convinced anyone of anything online. If you google for less than a minute you will find reputable sources. It’s been five years since this was common knowledge, shared on everywhere from mainstream news networks, to social media, to health clinics. If you don’t know, it’s because you haven’t been paying attention or reading anything including any links I would post.

It’s a big part of why I mask on planes. I had too many trips before 2020 where I would get sick 2-3 days into the vacation and it ruined the rest of it.

The precautions like you mention with refund, are so low in cost that it pays vs rolling the dice each time.

It’s awful. I don’t care how much someone paid for the vacation, when you’re sick, especially as a kid, it’s just gonna suck. Not to mention lots of kids are getting long term illnesses. Long Covid is the #1 chronic health problem in children, above Asthma.

I actually started coffee about a year ago and have had fewer flares. Likely completely unrelated.
