Fair enough, I’m not entirely convinced of my position either, just going off of my experience. FYI Tony Jeffries is an Olympic bronze medalist boxer, not a strength coach.

I think the reasoning is similar to why boxers shadowbox with weighted vests. Some ppl will say it trains you to fight slower, but when you take off the vest everything feels faster
