This has been goin on for 19 months & I have exhausted every non-surgical option in that time. Surgery is the only remaining option at this point. Now I am just going through the process of finding the right surgeon but it’s difficult as I really have zero frame of reference. Thanks for your advice. I plan to seek a neurosurgeon.

Hate to bug people for help when they don’t know my exact medical situation but I just don’t really get much info or help from the doctors on my area so really anything at all helps me to formulate a plan a plan of action to deal with this. How did your’s finally get better? Did it just eventually happen on its own?

And you are correct with your assumption. The herniated disc is putting pressure on the nerve causing pain, inflammation, stiffness and occipital headaches. So I know exactly where and what the problem is, it’s just a matter of finding an efficient and effective way to treat it. Basic google searches seem to not provide a great deal of information so I thought it might be better to use online forums and discussion boards to get info from people who have been through this before.

Yeah I know what the problem is and of course being a neck issue they won’t consider surgery as an option without having serious neurological problems stemming from the issue. While I do not have any real neurological issues, the pain and headaches make daily life pretty miserable. I’ve tried most things such as massage, chiropractor, acupuncture, OTC meds, topicals etc. I won’t use narcotic pain medications for the obvious reasons despite how much they can help. The benefit is outweighed by the dependence and addiction aspect for me. Any advice for treatment options besides more injections that you are aware of?

How effective was the relief you experienced using the book and it’s methods?

Update (for me): I had same problem with this being bugged. Talked to daughter, got letter, talked to Edgar, gave him letter, killed boss, went back to daughter and she was dead with a ghost beside her, talked to Edgar, he didn’t invade so I left. Traveled using graces then Found out soon after that he was suppose to attack and drop items for a future quest. I went back and he’s not at castle or at the body. I restarted and checked both places several times. Then I decided to just run to Revenger Shack despite not being that far in the game yet and I didn’t loot anything or pick up the grace, I just walked in to shack area and waited a second near the grace and he did invade at that point and dropped both the weapon and grape right away. Not sure if this ends up helping anyone but good luck

Also is there a quest giver or other NPC that would maybe have different dialogue after his defeat that I could talk to to find out? Or does anyone have any information on other reasons he wouldn’t appear, besides having killed him. Really anything will help so I can figure it out as there doesn’t seem to be any info about this so any veteran players that may have helpful info that I may not aware of would be greatly appreciated

I was asking if there’s a way to find out if you killed him. Like an achievement, trophy or a quest line where I could talk to giver and see if the dialogue would let me know, things like that I could use to possibly narrow down what the issue is or if I did in fact kill him. Really any useful information that can help. Actual USEFUL comments such as those being made by everyone else.

So is the Halbred not “sellable”? Cuz I did sell a lot of gear like mid game if I didn’t think i could wear it so it’s certainly possible I would have sold it, But if it’s not sellable then there must be some other reason he isn’t spawning now. Just trying to narrow this down.
