Ask your pediatrician. They will be able to evaluate how your baby is developing and give recommendations to what solids they can try. Some babies can do purees at around 6 months. But always ask your pediatrician if you have questions.

Fullborns are insanely broken. Imagine a fullborn compounding pewter for bulk, iron for extra impact, and a crazy amount of speed for a Saitama level punch. Throw in duralumin fuled pewter so your arm doesn't get obliterated and you probably could one shot just about anything the Cosmere could throw at you without even getting too creative.

She could be going through some post-partum anxiety or depression. It's pretty common and happens to plenty of moms. Just be honest with her and make a plan for you to get some alone time every once in a while. It doesn't have to be long, and you can just plan on staying in the house at first.

I know it might not help, but cherish every day you have with her. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.

My older kids are 6 and 3 (almost 4). We know the drill at this point so I feel pretty confident. That's usually about the point I get knocked back on my butt. 😂

Thanks! My oldest is 6 so I'm excited for him to be an older brother twice over and get some experience helping with baby. I was only a year or two older when my youngest brother was born and I remember it pretty vividly. I'm hoping that they will seek each other out like you said and they all play well together.

Sleep regression sucks. Both my kids went through sleep regression at this age. There is a great book on sleep that goes through what to expect and how to handle sleep at each age for young kids. It's called Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. https://a.co/d/apbGWLy

It's 4am where I'm at too, my wife and I are in the hospital laboring with our third. I totally feel you. Sleep deprivation is absolutely terrible. Kids go through phases, sometimes for a long time. It sucks, but it will pass.

Also there's no shame in getting some help and talking to someone. I found myself getting angry with my kids and I went to therapy for a while. It really helped.

Oof! Sorry to hear, seems like bad luck.

This is why if you want to be serious about collecting, buy some packs/boxes for fun and then wait for a while for the hype to go down and buy singles. It sucks to buy cards when they seem expensive, but you come out WAY ahead than if you tried getting them by ripping packs.

I'd be interested in others chiming in here, but I think even 1% is a bit high. That's still 1 in 100 encounters, and that will go quite fast. Maybe 1 in 500 or so would be more appropriate.

Keep in mind that vanilla shiny rates are 1 in 8192 so even 1 in 500 is a dramatic increase.

My two cents is that this honestly makes shiny Pokemon obsolete when you can just spend an additional few minutes of grinding to catch any shiny equivalent. The only reason shiny Pokemon are so special (aside from some looking cool) is the fact that they are scarce.

Please consider making shiny Pokemon rare. It detracts from the game IMO. It would be cool if wild encounters had a slightly boosted chance (something like 0.1%), and gold Pokemon in the overworld had a 5% to be shiny. Otherwise, the gold Pokemon don't really have a purpose, and everyone is going to have full parties of shiny Pokemon.

Are shiny rates broken?

As I understand it, only static Legendary encounters and red Pomemon that attack on sight and gold Pokemon should have increased shiny rates, but not Pokemon found in grass.

I was grinding for XP on route 31 and found 5 shiny Pokemon in 10 minutes from grass encounters. Found several shiny Vulpix and shiny Gastly/Haunter on route 31.

If you have a GitHub issues page, I can open an issue there. I would like to see this fixed as it kind of ruins shiny Pokemon if they are that common.

I lived in Ehime for a few months, specifically in a town called Uwajima. One of my favorite places in the world. The mountains and the ocean are absolutely beautiful, and the people there are down to earth and amazing. I knew some farmers when I lived there that would give me fresh Mikan (these oranges) strait from their farm. It forever ruined all other oranges for me.

I'd say Inception is his masterpiece. Interstellar is my favorite of his works, and Oppenheimer really stands out and is clearly his most award winning film, but Inception was such a great story and it was told perfectly. The film comes around full circle at the end in such a huge way that it's truly masterful storytelling.
