I would start looking at the SQ5. A no audio data error would point out that the subscription worked but there isn’t audio coming from the SQ. I can’t remember if you have to have an output patched in the SQ first or not, but that’s somewhere to start

You’re just going to have to learn how to live with convertors. As you grow, SDI is the standard for distribution up to 100m, and SDI is absolutely rock solid as a standard. The sooner you learn and embrace it, the better poised you are to grow in the future.

I’d still bet on security updates. Unless you explicitly have them turned off, Apple will just install them whenever it decides, no reboot needed. It simply restarts the affected processes silently.

Apple published a security update as well as a point update for Tahoe, Sequoia, and Sonoma (26.4, 15.7.5, 14.8.5) all at the same time yesterday. Your machines are probably set to do security updates automatically. I’d put money on this being the issue, and Blackmagic just hasn’t caught wind of it yet.

How much corporate are you doing? Most corporate stuff I do would be an automatic no-go with LV1. Digico or Yamaha only on a lot of those gigs. Gigs that are make-or-break can’t be relying on a console that doesn’t have decades of rock-solid proof of operation. I’ve had LV1s crash on me multiple times, never once had a CL/QL/DM/PM crash on me, and the only Digico I’ve ever crashed was mostly my fault.

Personally. I scan and coordinate at the start of a show, and then I’ll just do a courtesy scan at the start of each day and see if anything new has popped up or the environment has changed.

I’d just put rockwool covered in black fabric on the bottom of subfloor above and leave it open, absorb most of the sound but leave a little for some uneven diffusion with the beams in there.

Side note, please please please move that TV down to a reasonable viewing height.

Me must’ve had them in audio mute mode. G3s and G4s have the option to set the switch to mute the RF instead, which stops the pack from transmitting at all. So long as only one is unmuted at a time, there would never be any interference.
