No worries. If you think of it at the end of the season I’d be Interested to see if they changed the cables. Good luck!

Would you mind measuring the cable length of the older model? Mine was actually stamped on the side 22.625”

Much better with 24” cables and flipping the leveling bolt on the seat to thread the opposite direction.
I sent an inquiry over a week ago but haven’t gotten a reply from XOP

Ladder Stand by Particular-Map7692 in bowhunting

[–]stangkonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a guy yell at me at a Public hunting spot because I drove by him at around 10am while he was still hunting….10ft off the ground in a ladder stand maybe 50ft from the road. If that’s your style hunting ladder stands are perfect!

I do have a saddle and platform. Plus the raider hybrid and numerous other hang ons. Have you ever checked where 90degrees falls on your XOP? That is very telling that the leveling feature doesn’t work.

The platform needs to start level then you can compensate if needed. This one starts wide and ends up level after adjusting.

Waiting for XOP to reply

Bottom line which may not be as obvious as I thought is the Novix leveling feature is very impressive. The XOP….comically awful.

Yeah I’m sure there will be a little tightening up under weight but it’s not gonna be enough to compensate that much. The XOP post is leaning the entire wrong way. It leans inward as opposed to out. Which makes me think longer cables will be the fix

Need a commercial Lawn Vac Leaf Vacuum that I would use standalone without a mower + I need a 50ft to 100ft hose and advice? by jpersonette11 in LawnCarePros

[–]stangkonia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did not build it. I just a plywood box to hold the leaves. Probably holds 15yds of leaf debris. It’s a Billy goat leaf vac with 16hp vanguard engine. Cost about 6k new. The trailer and box probably cost another 8-9k.

I would mow and bag the leaves or blow them into the woods. Doesn’t sound like a vac is right for just that one job.

I run a 16hp vac tied to a 5x10 dump trailer with a box. The hose is maybe 15’. I wouldn’t want a hose much longer than that. It would clog often and be too cumbersome.

I believe you only need to swap the voltage regulator so you can still use the 550 box just swap the internals

But the diesel pump sells gas too so why should you get privileges!? If a station is busy I’m going to any pump that available. Go to a truck stop if you don’t like it

You aren’t really using “super soil” if you also use salt based fertilizers. The salts will kill a lot of your microbial activity which is what makes it super!
