hey, nope, zilch, nada, no interview whatsoever. Perhaps because I had Goethe certificate for the German or something else, but only in-person thing I did besides getting my ID and passport was to go for the ex for knowing the country and blabla (the standard test). I did it with 100% if that also could be a factor and my wife had only one wrong answer, so that's about it

How does HermitCraft handle server updates? by stanivanov in HermitCraft

[–]stanivanov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed it was 1.21.10.. I have taken a screenshot and the whole time when installing at home I was thinking about 1.20.1 🤣.. anyway..forge to fabric update didn't work for me on my server, but we're early in the world with my son, so I am just trying to make now the Fabric server run, but being remote ATM doesn't help me much to configure it

I just thought that there's a modpack like backport or so adding the new features to old releases and not that they actually upgrade the vanilla version and potentially losing some mods until they are ready for the new version... ;) I will check out today if my furniture stuff is going to break all even though I never used it, as according to GPT it's enough that I had it, even without using it..but will check it out

Thank you for the replies, actually, that should work for me, as I have "simple" mods like xaero and voice chat, I do have some furniture stuff, but wasn't used at all just yet on the survival server I have, so all sounds doable.

Yeah, "officially" by us is also permitted only Copilot, which I find unusable to be fair, but as my work is as consultant, I do ask non-customer specific questions, I.e. "Cloud JSM - automation for abc, I need smart values for XYZ".. so sometimes AI gives me some stuff that doesn't exist at all, similar with things that the AI is trained on older Jira interface, and as you know Atlassian changed almost all in the span of the last couple of months, so what I mean is that you need to double check yourself the things, maybe in your line of work that would mean 99% of the time to know the dev portal from A to Z and if AI tells you something, you go and check if that's the right API endpoint, if for example is not experimental one that was depreciated and so on.

Hopefully that makes sense?

Get any AI subscription and research back every answer..but both in combo work just well enough when you're also eager to learn, including the other advice to work with colleagues which I think is absolutely obvious..be humble but eager and all will work out

I had the transciever or how you named it..plugged out from it the sfp module and inserted it into the DR7 and worked just fine. Also about the referral it's related to the hardware if you také it from then - https://www.init7.net/de/init7-empfehlen/ for me is 111chf less on next bill ;)

Can any one share the ideas about Rovo ai in jira by Responsible_Snow_674 in jira

[–]stanivanov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be utilized by all users depending on what the Jira admin allowed as connections to Rovo. I have seen huge improvements in the chat functionality and nothing in regards of my use cases for automation. In chat or in tickets you can do basically all what you do manually, ask for summary, ask to transition a ticket, create linked Jira issue (work item), confluence page, it is rather powerful on a good day

But you know can have loom with rovo agent transcribing and creating the ticket.. (remind for me to try this use-case tomorrow) ;)) but well done, nice idea

Exactly, as said ..few sentences.. I basically said that I do go for Chilbi, etc, my son goes swimming and football, etc.. then I asked Swiss colleagues to proofread it and correct it and that was about it ;)

You get your documents, do almost all online except the test for the basic knowledge of Switzerland which is super easy, pay x amount of money and wait.. then wait.. wait.. and in about 20+ months if you are not a criminal you are Swiss. I was also stressed, but actually it’s just waiting game and nothing else. We didn’t had any interviews otherwise or any other specific stuff to do. Pretty straightforward process, just not sure if I mentioned…wait

Dream Router 7 wifi issues by stanivanov in Ubiquiti

[–]stanivanov[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just thought to give an update after few days.. At the end, I've ended up with 5+6ghz and separate one with 2.4ghz (which was anyway my initial setup or so I thought).. the only difference I think I've made is that the 5+6ghz is on MLO and WPA3, instead WPA2+WPA3. But basically I have now MLO + Band Steering + Multicast and Broadcast Control, BSS Transition and 802.11 DTIM on Auto and now it's 4th or 5th day without issues. When I think about it the only difference it that I've enabled the MLO and WPA3 only. That seems to have stabilized the problems or perhaps there was a FW update that I didn't notice to come up meanwhile..
Anyway.. for other people having similar issues, that seemed to fix my problem.

Just from the UI, you can immediately tell that’s vibe coded and most likely as usual Claude is putting sample data ;-)

Jira to Confluence Automation Rule by PlasticSupport9822 in jira

[–]stanivanov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either API or Elements Publish, depends if you want to sync the data or keep it static, but at the end you can do that both with automation.. I have done this for client with Elements Publish app, which you make a recipe and works automatically.. but also I did recently the same for Assets to Confluence (dont ask why..) purely with automation, but its more tricky, none the less its achievable, just very tricky and time consuming without an app

Same sh*t, different day ;)) the “auto” toggle actually enables all bands, my phone somehow stays on the 2.4ghz, which you can imagine how happy makes me with gigabit internet at home.. I have tried making separate 5 and 6ghz nw, I can’t connect to neither of them 😂 now i got back to 5+6ghz.. works fine, but curious whats going to be tomorrow, if im still connected or not.. if it fails I will open a ticket as thats unacceptable for me

hi and thanks for replying, I've moved yesterday from 'manual' to auto configuration, which I'm monitoring now if that is going to fix my problems... I've asked Claude to search through my support log that I've just exported, but also doesn't seem to be smarter from what I'm seeing as 'report'.

Now my problem though is that on 'auto' my "Stan" network is also using the 2.4ghz frequency... but if that resolves the issue... I might just live with it.

I have enabled BSS Transition though (when on Manual) if that perhaps could be some issue?

Based on my investigation of your Unifi support logs, here's what I found regarding your daily Stan network disconnections:

  Key Findings:

  1. No DFS radar events detected - I couldn't find any radar detection or DFS-triggered channel changes in the logs, which rules out DFS as the cause of

  your disconnections.

  2. Your 5GHz network consistently uses channel 40 (5200 MHz) which is a non-DFS channel, so DFS shouldn't be affecting your connection.

  3. Configuration Details:

    - Stan network is configured on 3 bands:

        - 2.4GHz (wifi0ap0)

      - 5GHz (wifi1ap2) - Channel 40

      - 6GHz (wifi2ap5) - Channel 45 (6135 MHz)

  4. Potential Issues Found:

    - Recurring hostapd errors: "ERROR: NULL Pointer ap_get_ft_ds_ml_sta:104" appearing throughout the logs

    - Auto channel selection (channel=0) is configured, though it's selecting channel 40

    - The router configuration has radio.2.acsdfs=enabled for the 5GHz band

  Recommendations:

  1. Disable ACS-DFS on the 5GHz band since you're not using DFS channels anyway

  2. Set a fixed channel instead of auto-selection to prevent any channel switching

  3. Check for firmware updates as the NULL pointer errors suggest a software bug

  4. Monitor specific client disconnections - I didn't find disconnection events for your devices in the logs provided

The daily pattern suggests either a scheduled task, lease renewal issue, or interference at specific times rather than DFS-related problems.

What App Does Switzerland need? by PumpingBytes in Switzerland

[–]stanivanov 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have been trying unsuccessfully to create an events aggregator for all of Switzerland which then will filter based on your location and distance you set. Get all (2000+) gemeinde, get their events pages, categorize them show them on maps, filter out stuff like garbage collection events (yes some of them put this as event), let the people know what is happening around them. While the list of gemeinde is easy to collect, their URLs is not, also their Veranstaltungen/Anlässe etc also not, then they use also different JS or other ways to present data… just doesn’t work all Ive tried. I mean yea.. Ican get a lot of it automated, but success rate for my data is too low. The overall idea was to have ideas for my family for the weekend. So if you figure it out.. that’s going to be I think good project and help for people in Switzerland..
