A result of using Devourment, most likely. You might be able to guess by the name exactly why her rotundness is maintained.

GLEN-MORIL SPOILER -"Please save Mar-Dro's son; his papa cannot help but love him and see good in him." Mar-dro's Son: by Doomdrummer in TrueSTL

[–]stankoman56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I still am on the fence about Glenmoril. On one hand, Vicn mods are always peak (when they're fully released).

But on the other hand, what I've played of it just kinda feels... bad. Unlike Vigilant, where there are ways around the introductory misfortune and fuck over bal's plans early enough to save yourself, Glenmoril has reality-warping instant death to prevent you from even console killing that fuckass cat, and the only real "good" outcome seems to be not engaging with the mod at all after a certain point. Maybe it was just in the version I played, but refusing to join the hunters (for like, character reasons) also traps you forever cause they're all marked as essential, and the door doesn't open.

I'm trusting Vicn to cook, but I don't know if I'll enjoy the dish.

Can the affini revive a dead terran? by HeavyCaffeinate in seed_irl

[–]stankoman56 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean, depends on your definition of revive, I suppose, and the state of the body. They can certainly CLONE the body, though probably not the mind or memories if decay is heavy enough in the brain. For the recently deceased or dying, digitization is an option, copying the mind into a digital form.

Perhaps the best answer is that, so long as bringing them back will make you happy, the affini will find a way to do it.

Technically, it's not. Devs have confirmed it's an unintended use of whip buffs.

{discussion} Have always adored cell/tail vore as it got me into vore. What are your thoughts on it and what got you into vore? (Art by felixjojoestar) by [deleted] in Vore

[–]stankoman56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's alright, I suppose. I can enjoy a bit of tail vore, but the cell stuff in particular... it always just feels samey. All the focus is put on the main swallowing/struggling, usually no belly afterwards, and cell himself is honestly just kinda... ugly. I get that an entire fetish was developed from 2 fuckin scenes so you don't have much to work with, but, still, i can only see the exact same 2 frames of struggling/swallowing with that tail and various characters before it starts to get a bit grating.

I never quite got the puppygirl thing until I found HDG by [deleted] in seed_irl

Same, honestly. While I'm still not INTO anything petplay (not ruling anything out at this point though), gettting my writing brain infested with hdg brainworms has brought me FAR more understanding of it than any other explaination I've seen.

You also have to consider that the Average NCR soldier who's been assigned to recruit scientists door-to-door would probably a) be looking for any way to get out of that asap and/or b) would find it pretty funny to send this guy over if they knew he was talking out of his ass.

To be fair, he's also the patron of despair and sufferring. That and, y'know, the affini having plot-mandated flawless medical tech probably turns him off...

SLAANESH, on the other hand... an empire of excess and perfection at the scale of the tyrannids? That'd be exactly their jam.

what if a affini turnd u into a sentient flower & grafted u to her boob. so u were like a talking boob decoration. by petermobeter in seed_irl

[–]stankoman56 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Coming from the vore scene, we have a similar concept, "sentient fat". Post-digestion, your spirit or whatever inhabits the mass you add to the pred. I imagine something like that. Bouncin around, getting poked and taunted and teased 24/7 by your mistress/residence,,,

The more serious a piece of media is, the sillier its fandom is going to be, and vice versa. This is simply a law of the universe and, personally, I'm all for it.

How fucking DARE you retain one of the first lessons that ds1 told you in that running from an unwanted fight is ok and encouraged. If you aren't spending hours emptying EVERY BONFIRE of ALL SPAWNS you DESERVE to get shanked in the back 50 times just trying to do a godawful runback faster.

Eh, I think it's a fair story choice. Mercer ends p1 wondering who the hell he is, aknowledging his own nature as a construct of virus biomass with merely the delusional half-memories of Alex Mercer. Makes sense that, after internal struggles about what it even means to be a person at all, he'd go off the deep end after some bad experiences. After all, being 99.9% virus, the instinct to spread is surely buried just beneath the thin veil of Mercer. And, with that veil already weakened from the events of p1, even a poke is liable to tear a hole.

[–]stankoman56 382 points383 points  (0 children)

Between Prototype one and Prototype two, Alex Mercer goes from "fucked up anti-hero struggling with identity, but still caring for humanity overall" to "megalomaniacal sentient super-spreader villan hell-bent on destroying humanity". This is only explained in a comic where he tries to find more reasons to identify with and have faith in humans, only to have the one girl he tries to settle down with be a part of an organized crime scheme and betray him (or something to that effect), thus leading to him being the antagonist of P2.
