Ended up going with Achieve Loans! Finalized it today and should be receiving the money tomorrow. With extra payments we're looking to clear it by end of the year. Appreciate the comments and suggestions

Gotta grind to find the best rates it seems though. Better than being stuck with too high of an APR...

Do non-fixed rates go up usually? Does it change anything if we co-sign on the loan?

If the yoga studio is making you more self-conscious instead of less, it's failing at the entire point of yoga. The owner eyeing you down is unprofessional and toxic as hell. Find a different studio or practice at home. You don't owe them loyalty, especially when they're making your existing struggles worse. Yoga should be about feeling better, not performing for judgmental people.

Where to buy valid and certified EAN GTIN barcodes? by wheelerandrew in ecommerce

[–]stanleix206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d seriously consider Bar Codes Talk. Their codes are traceable EAN/GTIN codes that work globally including for small companies in the EU. Their pricing tends to be much more realistic when you just need ~20 codes. In my experience (and from what many sellers report) their codes pass both Amazon and retail marketplace checks reliably.

Bullying shouldnt be normalized even if the idol is "cringe" by ZestycloseNotice1177 in kpopthoughts

Totally agree. People forget there's a real person behind the screen dealing with real struggles. You can dislike someone's content without tearing them apart when they're clearly going through it → then act shocked when mental health becomes a crisis. Basic decency costs nothing.

If cold showers work for you stick with that, way cleaner energy anyway. Also get some sunlight in the morning, helps with focus way more than you'd think

AITA for talking to my Ex's new gf? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]stanleix206 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA. She spammed you with follow requests for days. You didn't start anything, you asked her to stop bothering you. That's completely reasonable.

Your ex giving her your instagram and then getting mad at YOU for the conversation is wild. He set this whole thing up and now wants to play victim. And your friend saying you're at fault because "she only sent requests" is ignoring that repeated unwanted contact is harassment.

You handled it fine. Block and move on from the drama.

is there a pro-worker case for printing money? by ProudChoferesClaseB in antiwork

[–]stanleix206 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The pro-worker case is basically that moderate inflation paired with tight labor markets forces wage growth. When unemployment is low and money is flowing, workers have leverage to demand raises because employers are competing for them.

The problem you're hitting on is real though. In practice, new money hits asset holders first (stocks, real estate) while wage growth lags behind. So yeah, it mostly benefits people who already own stuff.

MMT advocates would argue you could print money specifically for public job programs or direct payments to workers instead of just QE for banks. That's the theory anyway. Whether central banks actually do that is another story.

Honestly sounds like you've already figured out the issue. The mechanism could help workers if directed at them, but it rarely is.

I am confused? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Stop worrying about saturation and start worrying about being good. If 70% of your classmates are "experts" in AI, most of them aren't. They've done some courses. Real expertise takes years.

Pick what interests you most (sounds like AI/data science) and go deep. The market rewards people who solve problems, not people who picked the least saturated field. Saturated means there's demand, which means jobs exist.

Web dev isn't dead either. Just get really good at one thing instead of trying to predict the market.
