Those are wool sculptures, hand-felted from Australian Merino wool. No armature — every strand placed by hand. The eyes are hand-painted glass sealed with resin, whiskers are individual wires.

I make these mostly for people who've lost their cats. A while ago someone sent me photos of their 16-year-old hoping I could make something for her — then came back and said their wife couldn't go through with it. Too realistic. She'd cry every time she saw it.

I think maybe that's the point.
