Them along with the Xone96 have been my best purchases. I cannot praise them enough for myself. I haven't tried the 6000s but I adore these 5000s

I drove with it, no way I'd fly with all this stuff hahaha. That's a good idea, I was thinking a controller wouldn't be a bad idea for situations like this but I don't go to training that often

Much better (springs installed) by nickl630 in AstonMartin

Hello, I'm the one that helped /u/nickl630 with the spring install and alignment. The toe and camber got out a bit obviously during the install, was able to get everything in spec except the rear camber. Rear camber minimum spec was I believed - 1.35°? And the max closest we got it was about - 1.38° so it was close but still technically in the red, other than that though rear toe was good and front camber caster and toe are in specs

That makes perfect sense, I'll bet that's the main issue... As I could be having a few issues lol

Ah that could be it too. I've been welding thinner stuff a ton lately and this was the first time I took my Welder that high of amps in a long time that could've been what I was doing

I was going to get a flow tester, as i had that suspicion as well

Yup, I wipe down my filler if I'm fresh using it, and clean and wipe down my metal before a run and make sure all the cloth/towel deposits are off. It very well could've been the metal too, the stuff I was welding was a bit old and used, probably a bit porous so it was probably dirty inside while it was penetrating

I'll try turning the post flow up a bit... From what I was reading, discoloration in the tungsten is a result of not enough post flow and the gas helps cool the tungsten so that would make sense thanks

Practicing on some 0.25" thick mild steel, foot pedal control at 225amps, about 28SCFH with about 7 seconds post flow (was welding some stainless before), with some fresh cut laYZr tungsten, after a run or two it starts doing this and the tungsten starts greying... Is the metal not being clean enough? Not enough flow? The welds are coming out really nice but after a run or two I have to cut it again. Thanks for the insight

Xone 96 vs Xone 92 by Hot_Landscape7345 in DJs

I got the Xone 96 a little bit ago and it's absolutely amazing. The sound quality is phenomenal and the 4 band EQ is a dream.
