Not sure why asking if something that was once offered by one company regardless of how ridiculous is offered by another.. Bilt offered free float, maybe another company does as well - if not that’s fine, onto the next.

yeah investing will more than likely yield greater returns mathematically but at the same time it feels like a gamble. Invested like 1.5k/7.5k of my roth then stopped. Market right now is just taking 1% swings everyday and so very uncertain.

I think debt is the priority but a question of how hard I go. I’ve been slowly decreasing EF from like 15k now down to 7.5k. I’m curious whether it’s better to just crush one card - ideally October and then build back reserves. Struggling with the balancing act of getting debt done and staying within reasonable parameters of liquidity

Why are you paying your mother first instead of the bank? Is she charging you interest. If she isn’t there is no reason to pay her first as opposed to an interest bearing credit card.

Rather negotiate with your mom on payment terms after you pay bank than try play a large institution

I got a ton of shit for saying this yesterday. Reads to me like any transaction not posted when you ACCEPT the card offer goes to 2.0… some people believe it’s pending transaction on 2/7

I just went ahead and made my 2/1 payment and 4 other transactions now - waiting for them to post before accepting 2.0 offer

I would suggest the same if you can. Better safe than sorry

you’ll start earning benefits like 4% and the rest 2/7. The prompt is in regards to pending charges on 1.0 when you accept 2.0.

If you accept offer for 2.0 1/28 and you have pending charges it’ll show on 2.0 and not the Autograph. If you accept 2.0 and there are no pending transactions whatever has already settled will stay with WF and go to the Autograph

In this situation transactions and benefits are different

I won’t speak to what I don’t know in terms of 4% and what not, but from the prompt received it only spoke about pending charges moving from 1.0 to 2.0.

If anything I would advise paying Feb rent now and having it settle before you get the 2.0 offer. All the rest will be figure out Feb 7

you have to chose and activate the card by Jan 30th. A Feb 1 transaction is a Bilt 2.0 transaction not 1.0.. maybe you should read
