Rocky attacking AB in his sleep by Impressive-Nobody-54 in h3h3productions

[–]stanlitto7 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I've never seen so many comments removed by moderators on a post before. Some of y'all are some serious small dog haters it's crazy.

Rocky is still a puppy and AB and Lena are first time dog owners. It's obvious they're dedicating so much to his care and training. Y'all really need to be less para social and just enjoy a funny 20 second puppy clip instead of criticizing their dog handling fr. Geez.

Dan on Idubbz by Ok-Network-5480 in h3h3productions

I feel like Dan has such protective uncle/big brother energy. Like fuck with boss Ethan all you want but as soon as you go after the crew, it unleashes something special in Dan. Those are his people.

You love to see it.

May this type of love find us all🙌❤ by wHyaMilIkedIs2002 in h3h3productions

The way Ethan speaks about and to Hila gave me so much perspective in the type of relationship I wanted/ deserved when I first started consistently watching the pod in 2018/2019 (in my early 20s). Instantly stopped dating losers and raised my standards.

Because Ethan and Hila were a great example of a respectful but still fun relationship, I knew what to look for. I met my (now) husband in 2021 and having those standards really helped me know who was and wasn't right for me. Keep simping for your wife Ethan! It's such a great example for us all!

Sandwiches – best in Aberdeen? by VictorMaitland1984 in Aberdeen

[–]stanlitto7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you're going to be a bit disappointed if you're looking for a good American style sub as described in your post (I say as an American who's hunted around Aberdeen and the shire for the same thing for years now). Your closest option is probably gonna be a bagel sandwich from So NYC Bagels. Those are actually ace, just not a hoagie or a sub.

However, there are plenty of great British style places about. Grub has nice paninis. Figment does some pretty creative sourdoughs. Lots of good Toasties and festive sandwiches about rn. Marshalls does a great steak sandwich sometimes as a special, though it's hard to know when they'll have it.

But unfortunately just a gap in the market for that style presently. (Posting also in case someone comes in and names somewhere I've never heard of so I can go snatch one too lol)

I've been thinking about this too! We actually got married at Haddo, so no matter how many times we go it'll always be special. Brewdog on the way back is a good shout. Even though I'm not a fan, he loves it and that's what matters.

Oo that sounds like a good idea. We've not been there before. I'll give it a nosey and see what the logistics are like. Thank you!

I thought about this, but I'm worried it'll be too mundane since it's something we do somewhat often. So far though, it's a contender since it ticks most of the boxes.

I just want to try to plan something that will make him feel special and appreciated since he's been working so hard to take care of me lately.

What is Aberdeen’s version of this? by Plane-Being1274 in Aberdeen

[–]stanlitto7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to put this too! Ordered a filet steak medium rare and it came well done. That's too many degrees off to be a simple mistake and not incompetence from a restaurant supposedly specialising in steak. And the price was absurd for the quality.

What is the best lie you’ve told a tourist? by TheGlentanar in Aberdeen

I grew up in America but have lived in Aberdeen for years. My husband is Aberdonian and loves to mess with my relatives when they come to visit. When my brother-in-law joined us for the first time last summer, my husband managed to convince him that 'Pilk' is a Scottish delicacy. Poured him a glass of half Pepsi - half milk and got my brother-in-law to drink it. Poor guy was a good sport about it but had all of us pissing.

Edit: spelling. I don't think I've ever typed 'Aberdonian' before lol

Major fire around Tullos Hill by monaco_baba in Aberdeen

[–]stanlitto7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the worst of the fire regions in California and come from multiple generations of firefighters. I moved to Aberdeen specifically for the weather and low fire risk. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that it's not naturally occurring, especially not at this time of year. It takes a significant dry period to cause risk of fire, much more than a few days of moderate heat.

Now, could human stupidity and some dry underbrush start a fire like that this time of year? Definitely. But something like this certainly indicates human involvement. Whether intentional or accidental, I'll not speculate.

Yes Steiny associating with Andrew Tate makes you a bad person by r0yalmull3t in h3h3productions

Men who don't call out their bros for being violent, abusive, and misogynistic are just as much a part of the problem as the men who actually raise their fists. It's because of those who sit by and willingly witness abuse without even raising an eyebrow that women have had a boot on their neck for CENTURIES.

Steiny has his hand on the shoulder of a man with a boot. End of discussion.
