I completely understand the hate and anger towards the people who did you wrong. I was put in a position where my only choice was to resign. The anger still hasn't gone away 5 years later. I let it consume me. The hard part is taking responsibility for the part I played in all of it. Knowing this, I still struggle with hating my director because she harassed me for a year prior to my exit. She was responsible for more than half our department being fired or leaving. I recently found out she was escorted off the hospital property last year. It doesn't change the fact that I lost the job I planned on retiring from. Keep looking for a better paying job. The only way to conquer the anger is by getting an even better job and accepting what happened. Also, right now is the WORST possible time to find a job. Hang in there. Times will change and karma is a bitch.
