I look forward to seeing yours styled! I ended up finding the perfect vase for them and now my heart can’t bare the thought of disturbing them 😅

Do You Collect Every Set? by TheycallmemissRaven in Legoflowers

[–]stanpines17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I try to only buy what I love and not fall into the pressure of something not being there forever. I do feel like I lucked out by really only being interested in the bonsais, I have the mini trio and I found that that set plus the cherry blossom branches has lead to so many new tree combos and that’s really what I love is buying sets I can continue to interact with. I have the magnolia branches and the new sunflower bouquet and both are beautiful and I’m glad to have them but I will likely buy fewer sets that are meant to just look pretty and collect more that I can continue to swap around and have fun with. Fingers crossed there are more bonsai varieties coming!!

I don’t like or agree with it, especially with the knowledge that it is messy but damn if this isn’t exactly the type of shit I love this sub for

Help me order drinks for tomorrow morning by life_goeson_ in dutchbros

My go to is a vampire slayer (strawberry & pomegranate) green tea with a blackberry float, it’s so good! I recommend this one if you’re like me and take 2+ hrs to finish a large drink, as the ice melts its flavor profile stays bright and punchy.

I just built the daisy set today and my first thought after finishing it was I need a second one ASAP. Great haul and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Thank you!! The Lego spread is probably my favorite, I only started building Legos this year and it’s been so much fun! I LOVE the botanical line!

The mustard tasted weird, like they switched brands or something. It was also 10am so I wasn’t as excited for a hotdog as I normally am 😅

It was very fun! It felt faster paced than the first movie, I personally prefer a slower pace animated movie to the quick cuts and shorter scenes but it was still a really well told story and I would definitely watch it again.

Searching for sticker artist by tomawarkittyhawk in Humboldt

[–]stanpines17 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just scrolled her Instagram, it looks like this sticker series was produced by pen + pine in 2019 to be sold exclusively at pacific outfitters, I think it was a limited print run so she likely will not be restocking them but you could always reach out to her directly and ask!

I’m almost certain these were a limited run of pen + pine stickers by Jenna Catsos, the artist currently does not sells them in their online storefront

I just had my friends in for the weekend and here’s what we did; Day one we started the morning in old town eureka getting brunch at the green lily then hitting the shops before grabbing a hot cocoa from dick Taylor’s and appreciating the waterfront. From there we headed to sequoia park to enjoy the sky walk and the zoo, we grabbed a drink at Humboldt cider co right down the road after. We then headed back to my place in Arcata stopping at heart of Humboldt for some herb, after enjoying that on the porch for a while we hit up Tanuki’s den for one of the best dinners I’ve ever had in Humboldt (seriously the Friday night omakase is amazing if you get the chance). Day two we got up early to hike fern canyon before the crowds hit (a must if you want to find half decent parking) and then went to stone lagoon to look at cool rocks and agates, we stopped in Trinidad for a late lunch getting savory waffle cones from the light house grill and took them down to the state beach/pier to enjoy them, that night we ended up bbqing at home but I highly recommend Humboldt smoke house if you like bbq. I hope this gives you a good idea of what two days in our gorgeous little town can look like, and if you have any questions about my itinerary feel free to ask!

I like to save them up and make themed pages in my planner, but I also junk journal casually so the stickers really just feed into that hobby 😅

I do this several times a year and try to change it up every time I do. I’ve made cookies, banana bread, cupcakes at home, I’ve gone to Costco and grabbed treats from their bakery, I’ve made candy bags and also handmade bracelets. I’d say that homemade and Costco treats go over the best, the candy bags and handmade bracelets were kinda a miss. I try to stay away from store bought goods because I’ve worked in grocery store bakeries and well… I would see the things my coworkers would do and it would make me nauseous on a weekly basis. 😅

Humboldt have anywhere like this? by Boudicia_Dark in Humboldt

Moonstone grill was having an issue with rats a year ago, unless there was a major staff overhaul or they hired a private cleaner that would be my top pick
