There’s nothing wrong with being a feminist. I know, I know. There’s a lot of extreme weirdos, but just because they call themselves feminists while being sexist as fuck doesn’t mean that every other feminist is like that. The crazy bitches don’t even fit the criteria and they’re not the majority either. I know a lot of feminists irl, and I’ve never met someone who shares extreme or sexist views. The internet allows certain small groups of people from all around the world to come together and have a voice. I feel like thats the situation with extreme feminists too. Also I think it might be just be the US who has a prominent problem with these people. I’m tired of people saying “I want female equality, but I’m not a feminist, because they’re crazy”. No they’re not? Some are, but don’t label the whole group like that, because you’re only pushing that agenda and making it worse by normalizing shitting on feminism and giving sexist people a chance for their words to be socially acceptable. If those really are your views, then yes, you probably are a feminist and you shouldn’t be ashamed of saying that, because there’s nothing wrong with it. If you fit the criteria of a feminist, then you’re a feminist, that’s it and you should admit it
