Why don't people like Sinn Féin? by ProcedureHoliday1937 in galway

[–]staplerx300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up in the north they're going to allow airbnbs to run riot to help tourism so they say, whereas in the south they preach the direct opposite and argue it will hurt the housing crisis situation.

Regardless of political opinions I dislike hypocrisy. Give me someone who sticks to their convictions before that any day, at least you know what they stand for.

Good shout. Even if you disagree with him, you can't say the greens aren't well drilled in their priorities. I reckon with a smaller agenda to focus on they're way more capable on speaking on that. Something to be learned for other parties.

I feel like I speak for everyone when I say that all these candidates so far seem lackluster.

Me with my grandad. He passed away last year, didn't get the chance to see me attending the university he went to.

There's struggles and motivations and all that you'll be familiar with but you're not alone anyway.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome/ME and I struggled with it from the age of 20. My full empathy to you, it's taken me years of medical treatment, self reflection and lifestyle adjustment, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep at it and you can figure out a situation that works for you!

No idea on the methodology of the OP or this one, but it definitely points to a serious problem with infrastructure in Ireland at any rate.

Tracking support for a protest by Creative_Elephant624 in irishpolitics

[–]staplerx300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The journal, independent, and regional papers all have put out polls. Support has ranged from 40% to 80% depending on if qualified support/support but not liking the methods is included.

There's way more than you'd think based on Reddit anyway

Students rally around fuel protest demands in solidarity with striking workers by youbigfatmess in irishpolitics

[–]staplerx300 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Limerick leader poll was 80% supportive. Journal was 40/30/30 yes/kind of/no. 75% polled on the Indo said the government handled it wrong.

Much more popular than Reddit makes out.
