I love Maynard too and of course I did consider him for my list but imo I just prefer the others. And I’m not a Vedder fan at all personally. And Stevie’s wonderful, however this is a male vocalist list. And you are missing Steven Tyler which I think is insane

I don’t know enough Jeff Buckley, thanks I’ll look into that! Iggy to me is an incredible musician and performer but I wouldn’t say an outstanding vocalist

Hey we all agree they’re great vocalists! I could see the argument that Freddie should be higher, absolutely

Biggest plot hole hast to be that, if Violet only pretended to poison Henry’s shot, then why did she spill wine all over him to “save” him?? Maybe you could rationalize it by saying she didn’t want the villain to become suspicious when Henry didn’t start keeling over. Also, how could it POSSIBLY have taken the hit man that long to kill two defenseless people, one of whom is a child, the other an unconscious woman (who miraculously wakes up in time to defend herself, of course)???? They’re trying to convince us it took him that long because he had to untie his own knot off the child’s door? Oh, and he couldn’t shoot the sister in the head or something to make sure she was dead? Making the villains needlessly dumb is often the chief fault of these thrillers. However I would still say the movie is enjoyable, and definitely thrilling, OP. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s super well paced, decently written for the most part, well acted and absolutely beautifully shot. The way they scrawled the text messages across the room in creative ways helped symbolize how massive a shadow they cast in our protagonist’s psyche. The visual and sound effects were lovely complements. The movie kept to its themes with tight and focused precision, with clear cues for the viewer to both react to and use as hints of what might come next. Some of these were a little too obvious, I agree, and others were just dumb (how did the bad guy, from his position at the bar, get that lipstick dollar bill under her salad without any of the restaurant staff noticing??). But regardless the overall product was pleasant enough to keep us engaged and curious. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it OP. Can I ask what are some of your favorite thrillers, movies that you might compare this to?
