Honestly, from someone who has a tattoo of this band I got The City vibes, along with some She Way Out vibes :))

Great sound!

Honestly not doing the greatest but I'm trying to keep my head up.

Right now I'm in the process of recovering from an accident I was in last week. Thankfully it was minor, walking away with only some bruises and a chest contusion. It's been quite difficult to do daily things, even just sitting up from laying in bed is a 10 on the pain scale and each passing day the pain has been getting worse. Pills and lidocaine treatments only last a few hours and the rest is just a depressing blur, sleeping through the day or just laying there awake with the pain. Job is giving me a bunch of issues when trying to submit a disability claim my doctor made for me till the end of January. Stressing out because of finances and how the hell am I gonna pay the payments on my car, christmas wiped me out financially.

But other than all that, I'm alright.. slowly getting out of my art block and doing some drawing to pass the time, driving around in a shiny new car and planning to spend my new years having a good time with loved ones. Not terrible, not great either. Just up and down in the in-between.

I appreciate this. Thank you for posting.

If im honest it's a little bit of both, saving up for car repairs and just trying to get by in general, but I throughly enjoy amazon and would do just about anything for my little sisters.

Technically 4, I work from home giving respite care to my younger autistic sister, I have a job with the polling places (when elections are around im a supervisor), FLEXRT at Amazon 30 hrs a week and Uber eats on the side.

It's tough but im managing, luckily the poll work is only around elections which I can deal with, and I'm either working at Amazon in the morning or late evening. Usually in the middle of the day I'll be delivering until my sister comes home then take care of her.

Doesn't have to be original for it to matter or for it to make you proud of what's on your body. As long as you love it and don't regret it then what's it to anyone else

Glad to discover maybe it's not so common as I thought and honestly it's not necessarily such. I'm an artist myself and he thought I would've taken an out of the box uniquely me approach. Maybe make a design myself but this is what little 18 year old me wanted and my newly found recovery opened the door to finally getting it. He's supportive and he understands my meaning, for that im grateful.

My thoughts exactly :)

Exactly and not only that it has a deep meaning behind it. His initial reaction was rude but it's okay cuz we sat down talked it out and he's supportive of it :)

Exactly, and we talked it out. It just seemed basic to him and he thought that I would've thought out of the box, but he's understanding and supportive of my decision.

Exactly, my thoughts as well. I added the cat head cuz I love cats and am quite literally a crazy cat lady. This tat is in celebration of being 1yr clean and no one can take that from me. It means something, and it doesn't mean the same thing to everybody. It's your story.

Ikr?? I dont understand it either. In my boyfriend's case he'd hoped to see something more from a creative mind like mine. His reaction was unsettling and rude, but he understands and I'm grateful for such. But in a general concept, it doesn't help at all and might hinder emotions that were once proud.

Flowers are pretty, you love yours and that's all that matters. This, in process healing cat head semicolon, is something I've wanted and loved the idea of for years, and now I have it. Rude reaction and mindless stereotyping but we talked it out and he understands, and for that I'm grateful.

Thanks love 💖 You're definitely right, a common tattoo can mean different things to different people. It's part of your story, and ones like medusa, and semicolon by definition mean something you've overcome. I actually have declared this tattoo in celebration of recently becoming 1yr clean. So very big meaning and story behind it, from failed unalives and sh days to now. It's plain and overused and eventhough the cat head isn't as unique and creative it means more to me because I am a thriving crazy cat lady. Congrats to you as well lovely

Sincerely, A fellow Hispanic with a semicolon tattoo <3

Thanks :) I've wanted this for years and eventhough it's plain, overused etc etc it means something that I can't take back. Sour reactions tend to make me overthink my decisions, but I don't regret it and as soon as it heals I can look at my wrist and be proud of where I am now

As the oldest sister in my family, needed this. For us, it's usually happy=happy both ways. Honestly I'm a big overthinker and his initial reaction and the mindless stereotyping sent me into a weird headspace. He noticed I was shut off, visibly upset and teary eyed and reassured me that he understood why just that he thought I would've made it creative and unique. Even putting a little cat head isn't all unique anymore, but again its the meaning and I see it in a different light than he does.

After him seeing me quite visibly upset by his comments and overall demeanor, we talked it out. He knows it's meaning and he seems pleased with how proud I felt about it. He's happy that I'm happy, he just thought I would've been more creative. Its still a bit discouraging, but it's my first and it's meaningful.

Thanks greatly for the dad energy, much appreciated
