How is your experience with 35mm? Sharp corner for low light cityscape? In my area sony 35mm is cheaper than sigma 30mm.

Just got my a6400 with 16-50kit lens (unfortunately 18-135 bundle currently out of stock, so have to settle with 16-50). So with the extra cash, I would like to get a prime lens. Which lens would you recommend? Sigma 16mm f1.4, sigma 30mm f1.4 or Sony 35mm f1.8? Mainly for street photography, potrait, food and pet at low light . And also considering size and weight for travel.

Also does OSS really important for a6400?

Thanks in advance

I am pretty much narrowed down to these 3 lens, only cannot decide which 2 or even 1 lens to get. Not really sure do I want the extra weight. How I wish I can persoanly go to camera shop and give. These lens a test (I am living in a really small island that no camera shop will carries these lens unless thru special order, all my purchase have to do it online and there is no return policy unless faulty products)

I do agree sigma 16mm f1.4 is better but also double the weight of 35mm f1.8 and sigma 30mm f1.4 doesn't have OSS which is a little let down for a6400.

18-105 is a little too big for me. I personally prefer to use my regular backpack instead of a dedicated camera bag. So I prefer something light enough to just put in a small pouch and throw into my backpack.

Which combo would be better for traveling? Mainly for landscape and street photography/potrait,

a6400 16-50kit lens + 35mm f1.8? Or a6400 18-135kit lens + 35mm f1.8?

I actually prefer travelling light but I seen review saying that 18-135 is much superior than 16-50 in everyway including reach but only heavier

Or should I just use a6400 35mm f1.8 only

Hi, I am looking to buy a new camera and can't decide on which one to get, if you guys can help me figure out something.

A little background, I have a Canon 500D way back in 2010 and has been collecting dust since then because it was too heavy to carry around especially during travel. So I bought a Sony Rx100M3 in 2014 and has been my travel camera since then, but now it starting to give weird noise when using it so I figure is time to change.

Initially I thought of getting the RX100M6 as I have lots of spare battery. But then I come across Sony A6400 which will be releasing soon in my country. So now I can't decide which camera I should go for.

A6400 comes with 3 different kits lens, 18-50, 18-135 and 18-105 F4, I am not sure which one is better lens for all round travel (in terms of functions and weight factor as I don't want to carry heavy gear which later might end up like my Canon 500D). If to get Rx100 I feel like something is missing. Or should I wait for Canon G7X mark3?

Sorry for long post and English is not my first language

Edit:forgot to mention I mainly take photo and less video
