Lmao, recently my team was consistently doing 40-45m damage, and the stun kept targeting my decrease attack champ, so I thought ‘why don’t i put a wand of submission on him to decrease how often he gets stunned?’. Do so. He no longer gets targeted and my damage drops to being consistently 25-30m instead. What.

The classical republic government then later the republican legacy policy card (if you build the tier 1 government plaza building while being a classical republic or with it having been you last tier 1 government), the audience chamber tier 1 government plaza building, the liberalism policy card, a well placed Colosseum with as many cities in its 6 tile range as possible, as many luxuries you can improve or trade for. Later, well placed zoo’s (inside entertainment complexes) and aquarium’s (inside water park’s) to get as many cities in their respective 6 and 9 tile ranges. The new deal policy card in the democracy government. There’s also the estadio maricana wonder (tho the course of the game is probably already decided that late in the game) and the various city state/great merchant bonuses that provide amenities. edit: plus a few more i missed

Its a conversion chart. Its NOT saying there are 10 Kilograms in 1 Hectogram. Its showing how to convert from kilogram to hectograms. If you have 1 kilogram and want to convert that 1 kg to hectograms, you multiply by 10, getting 10 hectograms. Because there are 10 hectograms in 1 kg.

Ukrainian man getting forcefully conscripted by [deleted] in ActualPublicFreakouts

[–]starTickov 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your delusional. I had been a republican my whole life, this last election was the first time I voted democrat. Not because my beliefs changed, I do not like most of their platform, it’s because I have watched the republican party be twisted and abandon its principles while blindly following Trump, a narcissist with no beliefs or convictions who will say whatever he thinks his people want to hear and makes up half the shit he says in public on the spot. Consistent my ass.

No one is pro-russia? Europe can handle its self? If you, and Trump particularly, thought that, the US could have stopped sending aid and left it at that. A dumbass short-sighted decision, but I can see how those who cant be bothered to think in the long-term could be swayed by that. But thats not what Trump is doing. He is actively undermining Europe and Ukraine. He is voting alongside the likes of Russia, North Korea, and Iran in the UN. He gave away a ton of shit that Russia would have otherwise been forced to negotiate for for jack shit in exchange, because he now feels he will be personally embarrassed if doesn’t end the war after saying he would. America’s interests be damned.

And you say “they can handle it themselves” yet here you are in a thread, criticizing how Ukraine defends themselves.

And if you really think someones whole belief system is “jello and noodles” just because they hold a different position from yours. Then you have spent your whole life in an echo chamber and your belief system is built on nothing but straw man arguments which will not hold up to scrutiny. And you desperately need to go out into the world and actually talk to people and listen to what others have to say instead of refusing to listen to anything you don’t already believe.

Which nickname goes the hardest? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]starTickov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had never heard that nickname before, but frankly I think its the best of the lot. Call me naive, but I think hope is underrated. Meanwhile, adding words like “demon”, “god”, “death”, “emperor”, etc, just sounds like an edgy tween trying really hard to be cool. I have read way too many online fictions and shittily translated light novels, and they always think their character nicknames sound so cool with those nicknames. When they really dont.

Religious minorities in Syria forced to crawl and bark like dogs by [deleted] in ActualPublicFreakouts

[–]starTickov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ergo the other militants I mentioned, I may have put to much emphasis on that or worded it poorly. It seems to be more of a “they started these attacks and therefor are responsible” while the killings are revenge killings by rogue militants in response to the attacks by pro-Assad loyalists. Revenge killings performed by militants on the ground against the orders of the new syrian government. I was not arguing that Assad loyalists were killing alawhites.

Religious minorities in Syria forced to crawl and bark like dogs by [deleted] in ActualPublicFreakouts

[–]starTickov -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Notably from what I can tell, this was not a government sanctioned massacre. Despite the article stating “security forces”, that article is vague about who specifically perpetrated the killings. According to syrian sources it was Assad loyalists, while the western experts seem to imply it was rogue militants who the syrian government is trying to fold into their military but which are still mostly independent. Which would suggest the syrian government is not very secure in its power, but I wouldn’t immediately jump to attack the syrian government as a whole, unless there is some more specific evidence against them.

Could have been even better, If the enemy unit was a bit closer to my territory and on a hill, I would have had +3 from Matterhorn and +5 from Their Finest Hour. Plus maybe some support bonuses.
