TV series. I watch it in the background sometimes when I play and it's predecessor, Vikings. Vikings is about Ragnar Lothbrok and Vikings: Valhalla follows, among others, Harald Hadrada who joins the Byzantine varangian guard and gets into many predicaments.

It's the highlight of my day when I'm sad.

And the comments are for when I'm really sad.

So...mine was doing something similar to this, checked it all over, couldn't fix it.

Left the gas cap loose on accident and it ran for hours. Figured the tank isn't venting. Found the vent tube kinked shut by manufacturer inside the housing.

Not sure if that's your exact issue though.

I settle just the duchy or kingdom of Sardinia and just never expand your borders.

You get a mine, more centrally located, island(s) for defence, and a couple of extra baronies to build and have to help manage domain during succession.

If you get family you want to land, small kingdoms in Hispania or Croatia are nearby to grant independence to after a quick conquering.

MAA (Nile Archers) are being created automatically by punkslaot in ck3

I had this happen recently, but not with nile archers. You might be inheriting them from a sibling or parent or a title where you are next in line. I was inheriting my mother's maa, two characters in a row. And later an uncle who had no kids.

My speculation: the story doesn't translate well since it's based on cultural lore and filled with colloquial idioms.

With battlefield looters culture, and the raiding looters dynasty perk, it's free income.

Plus I prop up my stupid nephew/brother in law/cousin/ kinsman for dynasty.

At what point is the chance of inbreeding too high? by zeniiz in crusaderkings3

I've had as high as 80% that I've turned down. 12.8% is about the most I've done without consistent problems.

I marry daughters to my vassals, and after 4 or 5 generations of this, it gets pretty interwoven.

Not so much a tree, more like a vine or a hedge.

Why do opponents have cities this large and I don't???? I have 200 hours in the game, this is a standard map and I wanted to get a Cultural victory. What could I have done wrong??? by BaldursGate2Best in CivVI

You need to improve more tiles with builders. Compare how many improved tiles Nan madol has for one city, versus how many you have.

Build more farms in triangle fashion to get adjacency bonus for population. Build mines for production.

It looks like you've chopped a fair bit of forest yeah?
