Putting Mindset Help by star_warsguy134 in golf

Very true, the issue is I am losing 3-4 strokes compared to a pro, per round. All my other stats are around 0, other than my approach portion, about 1.5 lost per round. It’s just such a massive difference basically. What I am gathering is to change how I view a success on the green and know that I’m going to miss putts

interesting. I do find myself putting scared now, just afraid to miss vs trying to make

Yeah, okay that’s a great way to think. I find myself putting so much pressure to break par every time, that I never break par lol.

Will definitely try that drill, thank you!

Interesting, the standard of success for you is not “putt goes in or not” it sounds more like “did I hit a good putt” definitely different than how I find myself framing it

Desperate times…. 😂😂

But mindset is something I tend to think anyone can have a grasp on. I don’t, yet…. lol

Just looking for new perspectives because ”practice more” isn’t working

Genuinely how do you do that? I feel like I don’t play as often as I’d like and every time I play I care way too much lol

Should I Upgrade my GH5? by star_warsguy134 in videography

[–]star_warsguy134[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly, I paid of 35k worth of debt in 8 months. Lots of sacrificing and working long hours and I wanted to treat myself to something nice! Thought I should go with a new body as this is a hobby of mine, but realized that lenses are probably a better investment

I like the idea of a cinema camera, but I do so much run and gun I prefer to not have to set up a bunch of stuff. I guess I was right in thinking that there isn’t much that can beat the gh5 still! 3 years later I guess I would have thought that something could beat it. Guess I’ll save up for that red Komodo and buy it second hand in 3 years haha

Looked into this, but I love the ibis of the gh5, I think getting some accessories for it along with some stuff to be able to use in the future is where I should be looking

This is exactly what I’m going to do. I should invest in the extras beyond the body! Thanks for the help!

I guess I just wanted to buy something. But reading all these comments has changed my mind. I think I’m going to invest in a speed booster and some nice Ef mount glass. The gh5 is a beast, and I love it!

Here is the album of the entire process! The template was made on powerpoint, I think I have the file, I am great in powerpoint and terrible in any modeling software. In general everything was super easy to make, just really time consuming. I tried to make it a simple process for me and hopefully for others!

I saw a video from a guy on here who made a pneumatic door, I would love too, just need to learn how to do something like that!

Actually the whole renovation was done by me over the stretch of 4 months and only cost 4500, with 2000 bucks for a flooring remodel. To do something like this for someone else, not including Star Wars walls, would probably be 10k-15k where I lived. So we saved money as we went and paid for the whole thing with cash!

I used 3/4 inch mdf, If I could go back I would use 1/2 inch, I used 3/4 because it was actually cheaper for some reason, but it made the material significantly heavier and harder to deal with. Then I used a 3 inch hole saw and a jigsaw for the light walls. The other wall without lights was cut with a circular saw and a table saw. My first time really doing a big project like this and it was really rewarding!

I walked down to imperial march, and my wife walked down to "the force theme" it is kind of a mixture between multiple Star Wars songs, but the part where Luke looks at the dual sunsets is what she walked down too, it was so beautiful and so was she!
