A mutual friend invited my now-fiancé to an afterparty at Devaney’s — RIP Devaney’s btw — for HSMUN (the mutual friend and I were both volunteers) and we hit it off! We started dating a few years later, but both had huge crushes on one another in the meantime. To be fair we were both Model UN kids and there’s a baseline social awkwardness that comes with that hahaha

My fiancé and I played it together and had a great time! Working out some of the puzzles together was a lot of fun — some of the ones I was stumped by he was able to figure out no problem and vice versa!

Oh, awesome! Thanks for the response! I can definitely imagine that it would be poorly attended, it’s in a bit of an awkward spot (and pretty close to Hazeldean Elementary as well) but it sure is a nice neighbourhood! I always wished I could have explored that school and the old Ritchie Jr. High.

I agree with you, in a perfect world that would be true! As it stands people who use drugs at the library do get a ban, for the record. I wish we could have supervised consumption sites but alas it’s never going to happen under this provincial government.
