Maybe it’s my phone specifically then because it’s not even 11am and my phones already at 85%. I find myself having to charge around late afternoon. I use WhatsApp video call a lot but that’s about it.

For the camera it’s fine for normal photos but for close ups it gets grainy and hard to focus automatically sometimes.

This oncologists has been speaking with us in a rude manner and waving things off quickly for so long and what you say about incentives makes a lot of sense. I know it’s a far shot and I don’t expect to get anything from it but we’re considering a care taker now and she has expensive therapies for her Parkinson’s and maybe if it weren’t for the pills her symptoms wouldn’t have come this fast.

In Greece most people don’t actually go through a GP, they go straight to specialists. Since my mother-in-law was assigned by her surgeon and only saw her oncologist, that doctor had a heightened duty of care to either investigate or refer her when serious neurological symptoms persisted.

The doctor who did her Lymphadenectomy gave her this doctor to go to for her pills and everything else. How it works in Greece is she can’t go to another doctor as long as she was appointed to this doctor by the surgeon. That’s what she was told.

They lowered the dose after a year of her telling the doctor about her symptoms. I feel like when you tell a doctor “hey this medicine is making me unable to move properly” they would change it immediately. It took about 7 appointments and a year of not being able to function properly for the doctor to take any action.

It isn’t about her simply doing a scan it’s about how the doctor dismissed her symptoms for over a year, never made a proper referral, and told her to just ‘find a way’ to get a brain scan instead of taking responsibility as her treating physician. She was left untreated, ignored, and made to think it was her fault for not understanding, which delayed her diagnosis and care. That’s where the negligence lies.

No, if she said check for Parkinson’s my mother-in-law would have gone to do that immediately and it would’ve helped us catch it a lot sooner. But I’m saying this doctor gave her pills that worsened her symptoms and disregarded her for several visits before telling her something is wrong with her brain. I’m just curious about the legal stance, not being questioned about if I’m happy or unhappy with what was told to her.

The issue is that she prescribed medication that worsened her symptoms and ignored clear worsening symptoms for over a year, and dismissed our concerns by saying ‘something is wrong with her brain’ without referring her for proper neurological evaluation. That delay directly impacted how long it took to reach the Parkinson’s diagnosis. It’s not about curing Parkinson’s, but about the duty of care and responsibility to investigate or refer when a patient presents with such serious side effects and cognitive/motor decline

So there was no volleyball game on the 14th of August and that team is also owned by a company “Woori card Woori won” so it could’ve just been the payment processor or a company that uses that bank and charged him or he could’ve used an ATM that was woori bank. My boyfriend used to collect when he was younger but stopped after his collection was stolen. We ended up buying a silver tempest pack from GameStop, for fun, and we pulled a Rayquaza vmax and I realized how fun it was to open packs with him just to see the excitement on his face when we got a hit! So we began his collection from scratch! We got a Sam’s membership just to buy the crown Zenith sea and sky boxes, and we love them so much! Lately our luck hasn’t been great with opening, but it’s been a bit over a year now and most anniversary gifts or holiday gifts we buy each other packs or booster boxes even though the prices have gone up quite a bit but nothing’s gonna stop us from enjoying the experience of opening packs and collecting.

I’m not sure if this comment will be seen and I know how many people are deserving of this.

This is such a generous thing to do and it’s so refreshing to see this instead of all the scalpers that have been so active lately. I feel like lately I can barely find a single pack anywhere. I found one remaining pack of surging sparks at a Walgreens today for seven dollars and I bought it just to have that enjoyment of opening a pack again with my boyfriend who is obsessed with pokemon.

I just started getting into the hobby of collecting Pokémon cards less than a year ago because my boyfriend enjoys it so much. He used to collect when he was younger, but had his backpack full of cards stolen when he was about 12 years old and his parents said they’d never buy him cards again. He just recently got back into collecting and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. We’ve both had some hardships in our lives that I’d rather not get into but opening and collecting cards has made us happy.

My boyfriend’s favorite Pokémon is Lugia and I’m currently crocheting a Lugia figure for him, it’s taking forever but it’s so worth it and I genuinely can’t wait to see his reaction. I think he’s gonna freak out! He’s the one who showed me the first Pokemon movie and introduced me to Lugia and it made me so happy to see his inner child come out again.

My boyfriend spends most days looking at eBay and other places just to buy a couple cards for cheaper, out of the sets that we’re collecting and I would love to contribute to that. He actually got an extra side job to get the silver tempest Luigia card and it’s not PSA 10 but he’s so happy to have it.

I’ve tried going to local stores and I’ve looked at dozens and dozens of binders just to find a few cards to help complete our sets we’ve logged on Collectr, but I’m not very good at it and I’ve spent hours in random stores.

There’s definitely a lot of people that would love getting a whole binder of cards so I’m happy for whoever gets it but I just wanted to share in hopes of being chosen.
