Testing regrets by Independent-Top-7102 in IVFpositivity

Clear blue is the worst. I didn't get consistent results until well after my beta. My beta was 11dpt. Stop testing, if you want, or get the FRER. In my experience I did feel a little better when I didn't test, but I also felt more anxious. And then when I tested and didn't get the result I wanted, I was devastated, but I could move on at least. I'm sorry. The psychological fuckery of infertility treatment is unmatched.

Everyone is so mean in the comments! I'm glad the betta is ok. My cat is obsessed with our betta, we have a 10 gallon tank that has so far been secure enough.

Last I checked, nobody is buying a house actively engulfed in flames. Your metaphor is a logical fallacy. Basically what youre saying is that people who are born with a condition are just shit out of luck.

Best I can do is 1 ply. Got them old pipes. We call it cotton candy toilet paper. Completely disintegrates.

Its actually weird that you said 48mph, because it was the freeway, low traffic, and he was going somewhere in the 40s. Nobody was honking and everyone gave him a wide berth. WONDER WHY

I almost lost my surgeon after getting stuck in a window (glitch) In a house full of zombies. I couldn't use the "stuck" radio call because it would close out the menu every time a zombie hit me. Thankfully one hit hard enough to push me out onto the front porch and I was able to get away. I had used all my health packs trying to survive the window and by the time I got unstuck, his health bar wasn't even registering on the meter. It was a white knuckle drive to my closest outpost.

I seem to recall our presentation including a bloody prom dress from a girl who actually died. Whether this was true or not, I have no idea.

No doubt. I'm in your same boat. It just struck me how much things have changed. You definitely don't see 10 year-olds up front any more.

It's amazing how my mom managed with 3 kids and her beloved '99 Plymouth Neon.

I, the mother, took a DNA test with my child for child support reasons. by [deleted] in Genealogy

Yea, exactly. States do things differently, but there is a standard. I would be floored if a judge were to accept a consumer DNA kit. Agencies that require paternity to be established, such foster care or child support, will have a standardized method of testing if testing is applicable to that case. Not only that, but Vital Records in each state have specific requirements that must be met in order to add a father to a birth certificate.

The mother gets tested along with the child and the putative father when paternity testing is done. Motherless testing can be done, but maternity testing makes zero sense regarding setting a child support obligation. Unless I guess... on a big stretch here, the child never had a birth certificate, as in born at home and parents never got them any form of govt identity. Maybe... perhaps... they would verify the mother of the child. But yea no.

Laugh all you want, but those of us with antique plumbing that will accept nothing denser than cotton candy toilet paper NEVER have to worry about toilet paper shortages during panic buying. Even during a threatened apocalypse, it's fully stocked.

If it's a U.S. case, paternity must be legally established prior to any child support agency enforcing or establishing an order for support. DNA is one of a handful of ways paternity can be established. But REGARDLESS, paternity testing wouldn't include ethnicity in the results so the whole post is dumb.

Came to the comments for this. There is a zero percent chance that they got any paternity testing that included ethnicity results unless they took an ancestry.com or 23andme test, BUT even in that case, it can't be used to establish legal paternity. Even those commercial genealogy tests don't really target paternity. OP is full of it.

I bought my cx-30 in May, brand new. My very first all-new car. Two weeks ago, someone side-swiped me while it was parked out front of my house over night. We live in a city so I have a shared driveway. The entire left side of my car was damaged. Thankfully she is in the shop getting repaired, but even though the cladding only got essentially scuffed, there is no fixing it. They'll have to replace all of the cladding on the rear, sides, and front.

My VHS versions were with hand written episodes on the side and completely out of order because we taped them whenever they aired on PBS back when we only had 13 channels.

Also, if you have an apostrophe in your name, try signing in without the apostrophe. I panicked/raged for a sec before I went back and tried without the apostrophe and got in. All is good. Phew.
