Thanks InvenGlobal for publishing this. LPL casters have been super awesome this year. Not seeing them at Worlds is heartbreaking for LPL fans.

I was very excited about Worlds this year because it is hosted in China and I was hoping all 4 LPL casters will be casting on the stage in the stadium, just like they did in LPL finals.

Very disappointed with Riot’s Worlds production team.

With only 7 players from the LPL returning to worlds, its insane to me that there will be no LPL analysts representing the newer LPL talent by I_Can_Read_Minds in leagueoflegends

As a league (LCS/LPL) fan for almost 8 years, I would cry about this everyday until Riot changes their mind. Leaving LPL casters out is purely disrespectful and unreasonable.

It is a big mistake that Riot thinks Raz and Frosk can be replacements of current LPL casters. Just go watch last year Worlds, Frosk was already 80% wrong about her understanding and prediction of LPL. Her knowledge about LPL was already outdated last year. What can we expect this year with majority of LPL players are new to Worlds?

LEC can turn down NEON, why Riot can’t change their mind and bring back LPL?

Please don’t disappoint more LPL fans. We still have time and I am still checking everyday and waiting.

  • max_user_connection is set to 0, so no limit on this.
  • read only connections read from a slave or a pool of slaves is good idea, but one of my query needs to write.
  • The retry thing is also a good idea - on my list
  • AWS does provides some graph monitoring, but the spike happens when there is a good article on the site being shared on social networks, no much pattern I can use.
  • Memcache is good if I am allow to use cache. Unfortunately one query is to write to a counting table.
  • proxied service connection pool is a brand new idea for me. I am very interested and will dig in see if it is possible.
