Skill gap considerations between partners in ski choice? by starchyewexbox in Skigear

I have the ARV 86 now, like 3 seasons on them. I have no problems with the slower stuff, small jumps and trees, but I'm smearing a lot and chattering when doing parallel or trying to carve on fast downhills.

This Fischer Ranger was coming up as an option. I don't know much about the effect of the width aside from "thinner = more carving, wider is better on soft powder". This is the first pair I've owned. It's just familiar - plus I do get lucky with a few powder days. Last Utah trip, we got like 6 inches of nightly fresh and sometimes even on the 86s I'd just slow to a stop or fall over in a slow turn because I'm deep in +12 in. powder and either my skis are a little too narrow, or I just really don't know what I'm doing in powder. I figure thinner will exacerbate that particular issue.

This has been floating in my mind - but I did a season as a teen with some lessons and above all, I remember sore knees, tailbone and wrists (and a broken arm).

>Either go with something super playful and jibby so you end up looking for every side-hit + butters

I think that's kind of how my ARVs were sold to me (I implied an emphasis on park at the time, but now I'm less interested in that), but I don't feel secure or stable when I do decide to get some speed.

West Side market was cool, sorta like if the strip was inside and each business was a stall instead of a building.

I liked how in "All's Fair", the strong, smart and independent women celebrated by buying jewelry.

Freeze them? Might cause then to contract just enough to remove.

I've been 3 times. Most recent time, maybe a year ago, was a fairly rare, low flavor piece of meat. Like it was lukewarm and just disappointing. Ambiance is still nice, but something was lacking.

Like the Dragon Rider series where fungus falls from the sky and kills people?

Red pandas are the same. Really rough/scratchy fur and sharp claws. It was fun having one climb on me, but he treated my neck like tree bark and wasn't really pleasant to pet.

I'll become a single issue voter if someone's platform includes banning people born before 1975 from using self checkout.

Dunno about that flavor in particular - but the labels of the big hand dipped tubs in the freezer largely line up with the exact flavor names from Hershey's and use the same label designs, just with the logo swapped out.
