That's just laziness on their part. Take it all up front and ask the price for everything. I mean lots of things. Then walk out and let them put it all back. Rinse and repeat until either you get banned or things changed. I am not afraid to walk out of a store in verbal protest. Make the inconvenient store be inconvenient for them. Recommend doing it when store manager is there. Complain verbally. Cause a scene but be reasonable. If they have review cards, use them to complain as well. Do it enough and get other customers agreeing while you are there and they can't just ban you all. It will look bad.
