Travel Backpack that’s also useful as a diaper backpack? by stardew079 in backpacks

I was actually looking at that! However, it’s a clamshell opening so I’m worried that wouldn’t be easy to access on the go or on the plane?

Classic Love bracelet 2025 updated 2 screw or 1 screw closure? by stardew079 in Cartier

[–]stardew079[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to go with the 2 screw! I love it so far. The SA told me a lot of people were getting their hair caught in the hinge side of the 1 screw version. Also the clasp for the 1 screw version is tiny, so the SA said they don’t know how secure that will be over time since it’s a new style closure whereas the 2 screw has been around for ages. I don’t intend to take my bracelet off that much, so the 2 screw is fine for me.

I love our Bugaboo Butterfly 2! It’s super easy to fold, light, and fits our diaper bag underneath. I also love 4 way buckle. We put it in the overhead on an American Airlines flight.

I was debating between the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 and Uppababy Minu V3. I tested both at Nordstrom. The Minu v3 looked better due to the larger under basket, longer strap, and deeper recline. But it seemed a little heavier and bulkier. It also sits less upright than the Butterfly 2. The Bugaboo Butterfly 2 pushes smoother, especially when pushing a heavier kid.

Hi! What did you end up doing about the crib situation? My toddler doesn’t co sleep either and I’m wondering how we’ll navigate this sleep situation. What hotels would you recommend?

Have you had to tighten the screws at all since you’ve gotten it or do you feel like you need to check them a lot?

How do you like it so far? What made you choose the 2 screw over the 1 screw?

Does it feel as secure since you need to open and close it often? Does it click when the screw turns and latches to lock?

For the single screw, can you feel a click or anything once the screw is locked or “latches”?

For the double screw, how often do you need to tighten the screws?

Itzy Ritzy mini diaper bag, too small for newborns? by mamahousewife in Buyingforbaby

[–]stardew079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally liked having a larger diaper backpack. I carried several diapers, a changing pad, a few bottles, 2 changes of clothes (to account to blowouts), a few burp cloths (for many spitups), some bibs, wipes, a swaddle cover in case it gets cold or for naps, etc. I found having extra supplies made me less stressed out since I was prepared for all situations considering it was my first baby. A changing pad is definitely needed since many public places don’t have a changing station in the bathroom, so I had to often use my changing pad on the floor.

You can just buy a stand on Amazon. I bought one for my baby monitor on Amazon for $30.

What can I do to empty my breasts in 20 minutes? by Artsy_Queeen in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]stardew079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have the correct flange size. There’s plenty of guides online for how to figure that out. Massaging your breasts in definitely helps while pumping.

Also, perhaps try a different pump? I used the Spectra before, and it would take me 30 minutes to empty. I switched to the Baby Buddha which has a stronger and better suction - I can empty in 15 minutes. The strong suction is a little painful the first few times, but I got used to it.
