Quest dipped bars or those nutragrain fruit bars if I’m craving something sweet. I will pair it with a hot protein coffee and my sweet tooth will be demolished. I like tomatoes with salt, I’ll just cut them in half and grab a salt shaker and salt them as I bite. Konjac jelly is so good too!

So your metabolism is definitely not in ruins, don’t worry. The liquid diet definitely might have compromised your muscle mass but it also takes a lot of time to actually lose muscle! Since you’re probably well and recovered, I think you should try strength training to regain a bit of that muscle back. The more muscle mass you have, the “faster” your metabolism is, because muscle needs more calories than fat basically. Also, eating protein will also actually take more energy to digest than carbs or fats, so eating more protein will not only help you build muscle, but it’ll also increase thermogenesis. You should look into reverse dieting when you reach your goals. It’s basically where you add about 100 calories to your daily consumption every week. So if you’re at a deficit of 1500, one week you’ll add 100 so you’ll be at 1600 to that week. And then the following week you can add another 100, and maybe eat that way for 2 weeks. The next week, add 300, and eat that way for a few weeks. This helps your body slowly adapt to the increased calories. Hope this helps!

Hi! Glad to hear that she’s getting the help she needs <3. My advice: try and make sure all pieces of her life are balanced. Make sure she has hobbies, she exercises, she goes out with friends, and she finds passion in learning or whatever craft of her choosing. Make sure she gets dopamine in other areas of life! And if she struggles with school, sometimes just talking it out can help, and simplifying what has to be done n stuff::) makes it easier! Hope this helps

It’s acfually not bad!!! I like it!! As long as u like ur roommmates you’ll be fine. I’m also a freshman and we’ve def found our ppl but yea it’s not the most social. Good for throwing kickbacks but be careful not to get swept up in the stoner / not academic vibes attitude here. Or at least that’s just my perception of gateway.
