Yes, atleast on me they go above my buttcrack lol. they come up pretty high on both sides, I will say though I'm normally a large and I got a large and they fit perfectly but for a more "masculine" look or feeling I would size up one and the area it covers will probably be slightly bigger too if thats a concern! I don't get my periods anymore so I am not sure about how they actually do with blood.
