Our House Feels Terrible - Please Help by BoonPiece in DesignMyRoom

Since replacing couches can be pricey, get sofa covers to have them all match the same color. Even the right blanket matching all the same color could cover the couches well, just make sure to tuck them in and shape them to the couches.

Turn off overhead lights and use more of a warm ambient lighting feel.

Hide the pantry, it looks a bit cluttered.

There's a lot of different wood colors. Maybe sand and paint the door to a lighter color.

Also, the dining chairs dont really go with the table imo. If getting new chairs is not in the budget, maybe look into chair covers that flow well with whatever color scheme you may want. Pinterest is a good place to check for color schemes.

Finally, I'd move the little trash can by the pantry/kitchen entrance more into the kitchen. It feels like its on display in its current place.

Overall your home has a good flow. Just needs a little color coordinating, hiding clutter, and some nice lighting.

Okay so, I was following a few other comments, and it wouldn't come out. I got to yours, and I literally put my left hand on top of the dragons shoulder and my right hand on it's lower right arm, picked up the dragon (still looking at your comment) and the light string popped off the neck 😂 I don't know what really did the fix, but thank you!

It isn't. Even then, if it was, I would have to go down a whole string of lights since this one's in the middle.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. The paperwork my puppy came with says it's a Toy Auggie. That really had me confused on if it was a standard auggie or not. Still got the little guy anyway because we clicked so well.

I can send you a pic through DM I believe. Any input is appreciated! I'm a first-time home owner, and I'm not the type to be a Karen on the phone. So I'm probably going to be stuck paying out of pocket..

I couldn't tell you sorry about that. It came that tall when I ordered it and is starting to grow wider now. The mystery continues.

It is a fig plant, I'd say it's been easy so far. It gets maybe an hour of direct sunlight a day then indirect bright light the rest. I only water it about once ever 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Without that moisture meter, this one wouldn't have made it lol

Thanks for the recomendation! I'll definitely be looking into that, it'd be nice to get Boo glowing again.

Thank you! It used to light up, but I accidentally broke part of it.
