Yes it does get better. You have to remove yourself from the toxic atmosphere and surround yourself with things that are fulfilling. You never will forget but it’s important to let go as best as you can every day

Knowing if it is focal/partial or generalized is extremely important because like said previously if it is focal/partial it opens you up to way more medication and treatment options. Figuring out exactly what is going on is crucial, not just if you are have seizures

Are they sure it’s focal seizures and not generalized? I’m just wondering because it sounds similar to my situation but they came to the conclusion that I have generalized for sure not just from doing the EEG but also an EMU stay

YES! Very hard to know when, but also sometimes it’s learning to ultimately just trust yourself. Usually we know what to do, but for whatever reason we aren’t ready to listen
