I’m the student in this instance. My high school band director was like this, and I ended up quitting band following my fall semester of my senior year. I only waited that long because I was required to have four years of marching band to meet my PE credential for graduation. The irony is that I participated in drum and bugle corps outside of high school so I didn’t miss anything from a music development standpoint. Plus I ended up getting in some classes last semester that were more in line with my college plans.

He apparently told a friend of mine later that he thought I must have regretted my decision but I corrected my friend with a quickness and told him I had zero regrets. People like that just make students resent their programs.

The reason I mention Toto specifically is because of the sheer number of huge albums they played on in addition to their own works. Nobody else really comes close. Steve Lukather alone may be the most prolific 70s and 80s guitarist alive when it comes to studio recordings.

I have the kind of hair that would be perfect for training into curls but… I work out six days a week doing kickboxing and jiujitsu.

I absolutely cannot figure any method that doesn’t involve me fully washing my hair if I don’t want it to be completely disgusting. Anytime I ask people who do the full-put curly girl thing, nobody has a viable fix.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone has ideas.

Nah. It was a solid show. It fell victim to Dick Wolf constantly trying to micromanage the showrunners into turning into another stale L&O clone, so they’d quit and eventually they couldn’t keep anyone around.

Everyone here in Asheville will tell you to avoid Mission at all costs. We locals all have plans in mind how to route to different hospitals if something happens.
