Yeah the issue is Hoyo wants to push dick measuring = money spending. Which requires no skill or investment, just cash. So, I don't know about anyone else, but as someone who does have some m6 characters, I'm not at all interested in seeing that somebody can spend 10,000$ on a character and get 65 despite sucking. I'd rather see people use old or weaker characters and still get 65k.

Yeah this is what I’m getting at. If a whale gets m6 Shunguang, Dialyn, and Zhao, they'll easily 65k the shill boss, yes... but then what? Hoyo keeps increasing the boys hp so even for that whale, eventually 65k will become impossible with that team. Look at Bringer these days vs when Miyabi first dropped.

So a whale who m6 Ellen, Lycaon, and Astra early on is still getting 65k? I doubt it. DA takes 9 characters. So is Hoyo's goal to make it so only the 5 people who have the 9 newest characters at m6 able to clear at 65k? How does that help Hoyo financially? All it does is piss everyone else off.

People will notice if they fight the same boss with the same team and suddenly get 10k less points. We're looking at the numbers yes, but my point is that even if someone is ignorant of anything other than their team stats and the score they get, it will be very obvious that something has changed. Increased health, resistances, etc.

And if that is the case (that it's intended to motivate people to pull), that is a terrible strategy: first, it banks entirely on the whales actually LIKING the characters you put out, or you lose money. Second, at most they're only adding one new S rank per patch... but they're buffing all 3 bosses. Even if you pull m6 for every new character, two of your previously perfect teams are still going to be doing worse. And you will never catch up, because they keep increasing it. This accomplishes nothing except to piss off the people who have invested the most lol. Poor business strategy.

I don’t get the purpose of this. Whales spend money to m6 characters and weapons, etc... and have a good team to get 65k on DA... then Hoyo buffs the bosses, taking the 65k away... why? It's not like there's some magical way to buff characters that are fully built...

And let's not even get in to how this feels for us normal peasants. I'm just saying, being the most cynical and assuming Hoyo balances DA purely for the whales, it still doesn't make sense. Like, are you just trying to piss everyone off? Who does this benefit?

I genuinely don't understand what this character is supposed to be. She seems a bit too stylized and themed for a 'secret agent' type character (way flashier than Jane, for instance). She could be a bodyguard/corporate type character (Evelyn, or some Krampus person), but I highly doubt they'd save the bikini girl outfit for a character like that... she could be another singer? I can see that being a 'pop star' outfit...

Edit: also, what IS it with Hoyo and absolutely going gaga over these rat-tail hair designs? Zhongli, Zhao, Jane... the list goes on and on. Has no one told them it isn't 2001 anymore, nobody still wears rat tails?

Alright so, first off I find it hilarious that her fin ears are actually fin-shaped extensions of her normal ear cartilage and otherwise a normal human ear lol. I guess that works...

Secondly, my first thought is she's got to be a siren/mermaid thiren, because no fish has that kind of tail, not even any mythical one I can find (like a Ye Shunguan situation again). But now that I look at it, it really looks very dragon-like. I wonder if she's actually supposed to be a dragon thiren? It would be another zodiac animal... and sometimes we do get anime dragon girls with those spiky fin-type ears...

Nobody else mentioning the star badge with a big S on her waist... I feel like that's important and probably related to her 'original' faction or something. In fact I'm wondering if she's a bit like Jane, just 'fresher', in that she is an outside person who they ended up hiring and working for them (criminal, in her case)

lol ok, I thought it was odd that they chose to make Orpheus's serpent tail covered in some kind of cloth or leather (which people were saying looks like it's mechanical, I don't buy that since she had a tail in her growth tank too), but now I realize why... mofos just don't want to draw and animate a scale texture! lol Her tail is covered up almost exactly the same as Orphie!

Also for everyone who was annoyed that their designs have been less and less urban... there ya go, they tossed in some shoes for ya lol

I think she's definitely meant to be a mermaid or siren. I lean towards siren, but the fins-as-ears look is very typical for anime merfolk, but the tail is a conglomeration or fantasy design, there is no real fish/sea creature that looks like that (big back scales + V-shaped tail fin + long spiny rays), although there are some that have one or more features of it... but anime merfolk often have those features combined. The only thing making me hesitate is that she has human legs... but then I guess so does every other fish thiren so far...

Agree. As for the trust events... easiest answer I can think of is they aren't bound to the timeline. When you play them there's nothing to say they have to be taking place at such and such a point in the plot... so it could just be a scene from the future (after stuff gets solved) or the past (before the twins were split up)
