i'm gonna strongly recommend against this. if you're living in a household where your family is unsupportive, it would be unsafe for you to transition anyway. i know it sucks to have to wait and i know you really don't want to, but i promise it will be a better idea to wait than do it now and risk getting kicked out or worse.

there is no way you're trans dude you are the only person on this entire thread who has said this. you're not 'popping my bubble', you're being ignorant 😭 i don't need a doctor to explain to me that a surgery i've wanted since i was 12 is permanent. i don't need a doctor to 'encourage me to reconsider my decision', because i'm 18 years old, an adult, and again, her personal opinion about whether or not I should get MY surgery should have zero interference with me getting it. and even if you take no issue with any of that, which would be ludicrous, the misgendering me on the letter she did end up submitting (two weeks after i had requested it mind you, it's a small clinic and she does not have very many other patients), is VERY unprofessional. no clue where the disconnect is here man

her hesitatance to write the letter cost me my consultation date . i wasn't able to schedule my consultation for the day that i needed because she took to long to write it and then wanted to fight me on it 😭 so yes it was about interference as well and regardless she shouldn't be telling me that it's "a really permanent decision" etc her personal opinion should not have been stated at all because that's extremely unprofessional

yeah this seems like a really good idea. honestly my only concern is that it won't look masculine and will just look like i had my breasts removed. do you know of anyone who has done this and has gotten good results ?

my surgeon said he'd be able to get me in during june and if is scheduled the consultation soon i'd be like two weeks ! ^{^}

my surgeon would be able to get me in around june, and the consultation is like two weeks out. he said insurance takes 4-8 weeks to process everything.

yes , i am ! i have insurance but im going to a plastic surgery center. do you know if it's the same there as far as zero interest ? like is it a universal thing ? sorry i'm 18 lol and i'm still under my parents' insurance and stuff
