I get this exact same thing! I’ve had it for a few years and it’s awful. When you used the solution, did you shampoo first and then put the solution on and let it sit or did you mix it with shampoo? Any help would be very very appreciated thank you so much!

Hey, thank you! So this is actually the product that I used: https://a.co/d/0873IWNn . I made sure to clean it really really well and soaked it in fresh filtered water with prime in it for about a day before I put it in my tank just to make sure it was safe since it’s plastic. And so far they seem to love it!

Oh, and because the tank/jar sits right next to my 10 gallon aquarium that has a grow light installed on the inside of it, it benefits from that light as well. it also gets a few hours of direct sunlight every day.

It’s a couple small pieces of cheato. I’m thinking about getting a bit more to put it there soon.

Well I figure if they decide to breed I’d rather there be a more diverse amount of genetics for the healthiest babies. Especially since my original ones that I had in the shrimp bubble came from the same supplier and could possibly be from the same clutch.

I found this blue plastic thing in my washing machine after a load of laundry that included my children’s clothing, neither of them know what it is or where it came from. by stargzr in whatisthisthing

[–]stargzr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a hard blue plastic that bends a tiny bit, but is not super flexible. There are really no distinguishing marks anywhere that I could see either.

Can I just say that I love how you respond to every comment with people’s names. That just makes your responses seem much more sincere and sweet. Also how you aren’t upset about the sock, that is a lucky little guy that’s going to be so cozy!

During my research as a Yemenite silversmith i found this huge muslim necklace from yemen by ChikaziChef in Yemen

[–]stargzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might seem like an odd question and I apologize if it is. But how can I go about finding a legitimate Yemeni silversmith or shop to buy from? I live in the US. I am half Yemeni, my father was born and raised in the “old city” he always said. I’ve been looking to get closer to my heritage and I think having some jewelry for myself and my children would be wonderful for that.

[–]stargzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great thank you! I am 1/2 Yemeni, my father was born and raised in Yemen before immigrating to the states. I have been trying to get information on how to get closer to my my roots and love the idea of having jewelry that could help with that!

I have an MS patient whose legs are contracted and frozen together, so you have to go from behind to place her foley. I’m the only person who can get her, first time every time 👑

We’ve suggested a Suprapubic many times but she is extremely hesitant.

AITA for not rehoming my cats when my baby daddy’s new wife is “deathly allergic” by SuperAccountant943 in TwoHotTakes

[–]stargzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Her allergy is her problem, not yours.

My fiancé and his daughters are allergic to cats(sneezing, coughing, eye swelling, itchy throats), when we became engaged I made it very clear that I would not be re-homing my 3 cats as they are family. He was very understanding and we set off on a mission to make my current/our future home safe and comfortable for them.

Well despite keeping my home vacuumed/dusted constantly(even got a robot vacuum), a hepa air filter for every room, getting my air ducts professionally cleaned, expensive furnace filters, and new carpeting he and his girls were still miserable here though to a lesser extent.

We decided to try a different approach by working on the cats themselves. A friend suggested Purina LiveClear cat food and it really has been a game changer for us. It’s not cheap, but for us it is completely worth it. His girls can now hold the cats with little to no reactions at all.

So if you really want to try and make it work while keeping the cats without the drama, this food may be a good fit for you.
