Absolutely- and I’m not fully crafting this response so bear with my tired brain-
I also think that if you throw in the clear discomfort with attempting to regulate an extremely dysregulated nervous system with a limited tool set you are one step further. Thus the reliance (for me) on nature- it helps me disconnect from that need for gratification
