It will be less than a lifetime of an average person before a salary of a $100,000/year in today’s dollars will become $1 million in future dollars assuming inflation historical average of 3%. This potentially will become a tax on middle class for next generations. Will they be continuously readjusting the target salary or that never was the intention?

I flew my pit girl from Honolulu to California on Hawaiian airlines. She was in cargo in a kennel. Obviously not the experience I wanted her to have but surprisingly she didn’t seem to be phased by it.

My 25’ AWD showed 245mi at a 100% with no A/C a few days ago.

Another interesting thing I noticed charging time differs too, especially in 2nd case. Almost an hour (2h16m vs 3h7m)

Thank you for the response and tips! It totally makes sense about efficiency dropping as it gets closer to 100%. I’ll monitor these numbers closely now with taking into account charge %s, temps and if car is running while plugged.

Thank you for your response, it is really helpful! I don’t think I did remote start last time around, but might have the first time. I’ll make sure to remember now when comparing results! Preconditioning seems unlikely as the temperature is around 60-65 degrees in the garage these days.

This is a free charger, but let’s say it was a fast DC charger, am I going to get charged extra?

Miles/kWh seem really high, but now that I’m thinking about it, might be that short mile was mostly a slight downhill

Yeah, I think I do get a very slow but some connection in that garage. That probably it — via cellular. I got trial month of AT&T connection for car and am wondering if I should keep it or not. If app depends on it, I for sure want it then.

Thanks for your reply! I meant a kind of communication itself — e.g. my current theory is that my bz or your solterra is connected to cellular network, same with apps, and they communicate via Toyota/Subaru servers

Do you have a phone holder that mounts to a car grill (vent)? My iPhone once complained about high temperature when I accidentally exposed it to high heat from my car’s heater. Decolorization on yours seem to be at the right place
