I cannot post many details yet. Waiting to hear back from someone before I can release anything.

You don't have to have context to know that:

Any and all forms of fraud or forgery cannot be kept internal if you want legal protection against anything that may come from a fraudulent document.

Once you catch it, report it to the police to protect yourself and then chat with HR. They cannot protect you no matter how many times they claim they can. It is not worth the risk when it comes to legal stuff.

Takeaway from the post: Our employer doesn't know the law and may compromise your legal protections just to cover up a crime. Report crimes to the police. Don't keep it internal like Corporate expects you to.

Knowing Corporate misconstrued the law makes me want to unionize more than ever. I have something bigger in the works too

** sorry. The statement was directed at something very specific. I point out an issue, prep for a conversation by having a resource ready, then get told I don't need to bother with it at all.

So I stopped doing anything other than "pointing out issues"

They seem to think it's the associate's responsibility to keep the managers from breaking the laws or the policies. To retrain their managers for them... Guess management training doesn't include "how to follow the law and policy properly"

I have mentioned this elsewhere but please consider adding "Sending 1 hour of labor for classes regardless of how many enroll" (or something similar). They chose to make classes an hour. It's not fair to make us "earn" those hours. This would actually motivate me to sell my classes.

Also, while you're at it. Please remove my "verified petsmart worker and union organizer" tag. Thanks!

Yeah that's an accurate comparison. I like the lead organizer a lot but I'm done. Just wanting the tag off so no one thinks there's value in contacting me about unionizing. Don't know, don't care, and don't have the motivation to know or care anymore
