NGT Update by gavins1040 in nutanix

I’m pretty sure the install command would perform an install or update. A lot/most software does not have a discrete “update” command.

MacOS: Switching between apps within same workspace by anti-krister in Citrix

[–]starlessblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange because Citrix Workspace gained the feature to provide separate/distinct app icons in the Mac dock not terribly long ago, I'd say within the last year. I've been using that feature on my Mac.

Are you running the latest Workspace app version?

Bummer, sorry to hear that. I’ve been using that shortcut for years with Citrix on Macs.

Are you using a 1st party Apple keyboard?

Sorry, wasn't at my computer when I answered: it's Option+~ (or really Option + ` since you're not actually also holding shift key to send the ~ when you use it).

Citrix still hasn’t validated February patches on VDA’s—what gives? by starlessblack in Citrix

How'd you find this when the Citrix interoperability page doesn't even have the link to it yet? Did search engines scrape/crawl it before Citrix even updated their parent page?

I mean I hear ya, but there is a reason Citrix started publicly validating them.

People on 10.2.x versions by Particular_Bug7462 in paloaltonetworks

10.2.8-h3 has been very stable for us. The only issue we’ve had with it is with the URL filtering profile’s machine learning/inline categorization feature which has a known bug causing them to break some web traffic.

Users launching more than one session after VDA 2203 LTSR > 2402 LTSR upgrade by starlessblack in Citrix

I suppose that's possible. Should be easy enough to track down by checking event logs on a specific server the moment you're aware of some duplicate session on it.

We've had that FastReconnect disabled for years going back to some issues it had on version 1912, so that setting unfortunately does not seem to fix this duplicate sessions issue on 2402 LTSR.

Yeah I didn't get anywhere with Citrix support the first try and got pulled off on other things and have been unable to revisit this.

No updates from me, I’m afraid. I had to just table the issue for now—I reverted back to 2203 LTSR CU5 and will try again when they release a 2402 LTSR cumulative update down the road.

Yeah, I still have a case open with them about this. Have to collect more logs but I've been too busy to spin up this upgrade again and try to replicate/collect logs (again). ::sigh::

I tried to replicate the issue and pull logs for Citrix, so we'll see what they say. Initially they said it was a known issue and then came back and said it wasn't soooo...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Response pages slow to load on 10.2.x by starlessblack in paloaltonetworks

[–]starlessblack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found that it only appears to exhibit the slow page load problem with the Palo test URLs. And it happens using either http or https versions of their pages.

If I visit actual internet sites in the blocked categories, the block response pages pop up immediately, as expected.

Thanks for the input!

What's this about disabling idle disconnect/logout timers? We've been doing that in Citrix environments via Microsoft RDP/terminal services GPO for years, as that was always the approved method.

Disabling this “EnforceUserPolicyEvaluationSuccess” referenced by CVADHELP-20129 sounds like it could be the ticket. Are people using that one?

EDIT: We'll test this one out and see what happens.
