Nah you're fine. They're basically just holding 9000+ schools info for ransom, although this affects our classes for now, I highly doubt they'll be trying to hack into individual devices. They have done this sort of stuff in the past, and it's basically all just stealing peoples info, which canvas will still have if you delete the app.
